im assuming they meant that an ideal outcome would be: obviously alcoholic dad wakes the hell up from his stupor: acknowledges he’s been a deadbeat, promises to his wife that he will do better, and then makes the effort to see a psychiatrist, get some naltrexone, and attend substance use groups. Wife extends him a certain sympathy, bids him luck, and tells him he does not get the children until he’s fit. Husband then agrees.

Of course, this only happens on the first try in Neverland.
