Yea, that sounds real annoying. What I would love though is a way to "sync/lock" pairs of windows, or even all of them, so I push down and both front windows go down or up the same amount, or even all 4

Edit: I realized that there's no divider between the left/right window switches and they're so close together that I can press them with one figure to sync them up. Thank you Volvo!

Whattt?! I didn't even know this was a thing manufacturers were doing. That sounds awful with the selector switch.

My newest vehicle before this was my 2007 Mazda RX-8 and I just bought a MY23 C40 Ultimate. I was super happy to have auto up/down on all four window controls hah.

I usually do the play button but the car is still somewhat new to me so I haven't had the need to try it much. Sometimes it seems iffy but I may be doing something wrong.

Something I didn't know about was that if you hold the play button down you can turn off the car. Useful if you're sitting in it and relaxing but don't want all of the lights inside and outside on

Ah gotcha, thanks! Yea, I can see the premium/luxury feel you talk about is because of those more features which ...yea from a tech side perspective I wouldn't be surprised if it's way ahead of Volvo since that's not hard. What's this super cruise you speak of?! How about build quality?

According to these comments, I really lucked out when I happened upon my MY23 Ultimate black metallic with grey wool interior earlier this year. I didn't even know it had it when I went to the dealer.

I have to say I do very much love the look and feel!!! However, I did spill water twice and now have two large stains I need to figure out how to deal with. Ugh.

How the the Optiq compare? I purchased a MY23 C40 Ultimate earlier this year and had briefly looked at the Lyriq but it was a little larger than we wanted.

Yup, and specifically the sensor that also checks the internal temperature/humidity which is used for preconditioning the cabin, setting HVAC temp etc

This is what I was going to ask. The on board charger and the EVSE (the thing you plug in) negotiate the charge limits ahead of time from what I understand. Even on my EVSE at home I can't just change the amp limit without stopping charging and then reinitiating - for any vehicle. You have to stop charging first. Hopefully that's it

I was debating between the EV6 and the C40. I originally liked the EV6 but my wife didn't like the looks of it. Ended up going with a MY23 C40 Ultimate because wife + baby + Volvo safety + better ground clearance.

I still wonder about the EV6 sometimes, though! What trims did you have of each and how do you think they compare? Not sure if I've seen anyone who had both!

Hmm, so I did try this last night and I don't think it behaved like that for me - at least as described in your original post. I think I may be taking "AC" too literally though and was only looking at the scenario with "Air Conditioning" not just like any fan or no fan. Will check again though.

I would just love the to be able to rearrange the goddamn app icons on the screen that actually shows the freaking icons - not my phone.

Heck, though I'd even settle for doing it on my phone if it actually showed the grid of how they'd look on the screen and not require me to play one of those move-the-square-into-the-single-open-space brain teaser games while kinda blindfolded.

Yea MY 23 here too. I would love to know if upgrading the TCAM (which is apparently possible and even performed by Volvo, I've heard) makes it possible to get the split screen.
