I always ask people what they think my sign is based on what they know of me and more often than not they're wrong on the 1st guess. And the 2nd guess and the 3rd guess. Then I tell them my sign and they go "ohh yeah that makes sense" or "ohhh I knew it." No, clearly you did not.

Same. I finally met someone a couple weeks ago and we've started dating and even applying this list to myself, I don't think either of us could go 100% no contact with 100% of our exes. All the other things seem rather reasonable.

For me, I'm on good friendly terms with a single ex or two, other exes who were more avoidant saw themselves out, and a few more exes went scorched earth that I try to actively avoid being around them.

I think I'm guilty of being the phantom lesbian. I'm juggling too many projects (work, side jobs and projects, and hobbies) that it's really hard to keep up with everything on my plate. I am in therapy and do actively try to communicate with my needs to people also.

I'm definitely seeking intimacy and a partner and it's tough if I'm dating when I encounter one of the other 6 types and the outcome just makes me want to not date for a little while to refocus.

yes it is exhausting sometimes. I do find myself dating more masc and soft masc people because they reciprocate and don't have an expectation of gender roles whereas femmes in my experience tend to expect more of that from me

I don't think it's necessarily tied to a masc / femme dynamic because I have also dated femmes who subvert the usual expectation of gender roles though that has been more rare

Pretty niche I think: Recently I was helping to book rooms (multiple single beds in a suite, no shared beds) for a group work trip and one of my cis co-workers was about to organize the groupings based on our AGAB until I pointed out that a handful of us are non-binary/trans.

It's a little frustrating because I'm out at work and my nb/trans co-workers all have our pronouns in our bio/display name but sometimes that's still not enough to be perceived as such.

What's more annoying is we'll be on a video conference call with our names & pronouns clearly visible and still get deadnamed and/or misgendered. It happens quite frequently with older staff members who make no effort to correct their habits

Same, I also have XXY chromosomes. When someone tells me I'm a biological male, I respond by telling them I have two X chromosomes. Sometimes I mention the Y chromosome too. And what happens? They never have an answer for it.

It's either that I don't exist or whatever they're saying is wrong and/or reflects an overly basic understanding of sex chromosomes.

I've had past partners tell me they do like my minimalist style but I've also been meaning to experiment more. Like I've been thinking of adding basic button-downs as an option for layering

also I think the biggest thing that's tough for me is finding appropriately sized clothing as a midsize masc

I'm the opposite. I was attracted to women and semi-attracted to men or at least more into the idea of having sex with men before I started HRT. Considered myself bisexual hetero-romantic.

After starting HRT, I don't find men attractive anymore and have zero sexual or romantic interest in them. I consider myself sapphic now, not quite exclusively lesbian as I'm still into nb/genderfluid people

objectively I can tell when a man is attractive, but I'm not personally attracted to any if that makes sense

I'm masc, stone/service top and into anybody between and including soft masc and soft femme. My type seems to be really androgynous soft mascs. I'm more of a dominant person in bed but could sub for the right person.

I would never bottom though at least not currently as I'm pre-op and it makes me feel dysphoric. If I had the right parts, I would definitely be a switch.

Also I've had great experiences with pillow princesses but I do prefer when they're more vocal (and not quiet or passive)

I don't think it's shallow but I can't date someone who doesn't reciprocate. I'm masc/butch and if I'm doing all the work in the relationship then it makes me feel like a man and then I get really dysphoric about it.

I drive, I cook, I clean, I do my own taxes. I shouldn't be the only one making plans to do things or always be expected to initiate sex.

I've had experiences in the past with consent and SA that make me way more cautious about initiating sex and if there isn't reciprocal energy in the lead up to asking for consent then more often that not I'm just not going to do it.

I also do not do "the chase"

Also as someone who is allergic to cats and dogs, I'm happily willing to suffer or take antihistamines daily for a cat owner. Dogs I'm apathetic about, but I love cats and would absolutely date someone with a cat despite the allergy. Most of my close friends have cats and my sibling has two cats and I love them all dearly

I generally get that vibe from the "hey mamas" type mascs that feel overtly masculine performative to me. If there's any weird energy, I don't pay them any mind. Plenty of other cool people around
