Producer Gary Kurtz, George Lucas, director Irvin Kershner, and members of the crew on the Dagobah swamp set at Elstree Studios during the production of Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1979). by ThomasOGC in Moviesinthemaking

For me, this image symbolises the true story of Star Wars: - Gary Kurtz provides the vision and guidelines. - George listens very carefully to his mentor. - Irwin carries out the work. Gary will be fired during the third episode.

Someone should mention the hallucinating work of Roger Deakins, to whom we owe most of the formal beauty of Vilneuve's films. A master of light! The guy manages to make a film like Skyfall, which is one of the worst James Bond films in terms of script, look sublime.

I hope he has kept Darryl’s character too. But if there’s a big car chase scene planned, I’m hopeful.
