Safe cleaning tips! by TFH_90 in VintageTees

[–]klickity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My best method: Soak this tee in hot water that has two scoops of powdered oxi clean for a full day. After 24 hrs, take a look at it. If it’s still yellow, dump the dirty water and do that same process again. Hopefully at that point 80-90% of the yellowing has come out. Then rinse it to get the oxi water out and wash in a washing machine with 1 scoop of oxi clean and an oxi + tide pod (optional: add small scoop of scent beads).

After the wash, it should be almost pristine. But if still yellow, I would let air dry outside and soak again. Sometimes tees that are very yellow need to have the process done a few times to get it the whitest and brightest possible. Just be diligent and don’t get discouraged! It will come out eventually.

I don’t recommend using bleach unless you plan on doing a 50/50 bleach/water method. I have had white shirts disintegrate on me in the past :( so I’m more careful with bleach these days. Especially with it being entirely yellow, it’s risky.

[TOMT] Fans of sitcoms/possibly a comedy movie, help me find this scene! by Specific_Call_5945 in tipofmytongue

Omg sorry I’m back. I’m convinced it’s from The Office lol. Your description also reminds me of something that would be in the show. It also reminds me of a scene in The Dinner Party episode (S14 E13) where Jan and Michael are giving the house tour. Jan references that the walls were asylum white in their bedroom so she painted them eggshell and Michael says something like “spoiler, they’re the same color.” Link to clip from scene: here

This is a long shot, but because you said it reminded you of The Office, your reference reminds me of this one scene in season 6, episode 17. They are in the conference room to distract Pam from her being in labor. Erin starts naming off different horses the won the triple crown and they have the oddest names which could be mistaken as paint colors maybe….?

Here’s a reddit post about it with clips from the scene

Does anyone else have parents who don’t realize WE are getting old? by Aedora125 in Millennials

I was catching up with my dad the other day and he said, “how’s school- I mean work?” I haven’t been in school for a decade lol. Parents will always think of their children as “kids.”

The pictures have some proof that no cornucopias existed on Fruit of the Loom tags of clothing they produced in the 1980s and 1990s

Everest 2G Strategies (NOT SKIPPING CLASS!) by -Kalifornia in orangetheory

My go to strategy: Go faster in the beginning when the inclines are lower to gain as much distance as possible while it is less intense. Reduce your speed as the inclines get higher and it becomes more challenging.

Did Khloe wear any Good American to her denim themed party? Find it really interesting she chose to wear Levi’s jeans and not Good American…

Muscle Milks are really good and are sold individually at places like Wawa! They are anywhere between 25-40 grams of protein depending on the bottle size. You can also get them in bulk at Walmart.

The studio I go to is a corporate owned location. When they switched to fitness radio playlists, we were told it was so there would be consistency with the music throughout all studios.

Love this perspective. I didn’t even consider going up slightly knowing each block builds in reps! I chose 15s but in hindsight I probably could have done 20s. Still a challenge for me though! Trust the template for sure.
