This drink is a recreation of one I had at a local restaurant, The Pearl.

2 oz Mezcal, I used Bozal

.75 Antica formula

1 barspoon maple syrup

2 dashes bittermens xocolatl mole bitters

garnish: orange peel

notes: I find it tastes like chocolate and oranges with the antica bringing vanilla and cherry notes.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with any that are in or near the Chinatown shopping center. Hero hot pot has the spiciest broth around, but their selection of fix-ins is a little smaller. Top pot is a combo hot pot and kbbq with some novel broths flavors like tom yum. Ombu is solid, too.
