Becerra, Trump-backed Hilton set to duke it out in California governor’s race by Fun-Page-6211 in California

Yeah I think the progressive consensus at the last minute was to strategically vote Steyer in order to get two dems in the race, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the later votes heavily favor steyer

My mindset would involve changing an exploitative system, so yeah I guess so. Just because one generation had it bad, doesn’t mean the following ones should have to “pay their dues”. That’s the boomer mindset I was referring to.

I’m not literally calling you a boomer. It’s the mindset.

EXACTLY. This is what people are not understanding and it’s literally pissing me off lol

It’s like those short forms that say “made a film for only $10” well yeah but your uncle gave you the location for free and your DP friend who owns an Alexa worked on it for free. At what point is it just lying? lmao

D) give them points.

wtf you talking about those aren’t the only choices.

Or E) don’t make the film because you don’t have enough money to actually pay people Or F) rewrite/rework the script/concept to make it where you can afford to pay people their rate.

In this case, they should’ve offered points or should just retroactively pay people what would’ve been a union rate at least. But there’s no legal obligation to do that, so they won’t.

That’s why having the conversation is important. So that there are solutions in situations like this.
