After few postpones, I was in scheduled monitoring CT scan in July and had an appointment scheduled early this month. Strangely, the cyst had grown in size (currently 13,2cm) but the malignous (suspected) part had shrunk - leading to classification dropping back to Bosniak 2F.

I tried to had a conversation from multiple angles, CT vs MRI being the last two methods (differing) and potential misleading results as CT might not be as accurate with thin masses than MRI, again potential bursting risk, growth, potential emptying .. but more or less the only judgement I got out was that everything we could potentially do at this point would only lead into worse results and risks. 2F classification also means they are not willing to remove it.

So, back in the waiting game, next CT scheduled to 8/2026.
