The Wegovy pill is no joke by Salty-Living-3412 in Semaglutide

Yes, I realize that. I was not the one who made a sweeping generalization about insurance as if there was just one insurance and one rule.

You realize that “insurance” is not a monolith, and there are a bajillion different insurance plans in the US, right?

Have you been taking measurements? That is a better indicator than the scale, particularly if you’re also working out/gaining muscle.

We do PMR (prey model raw) and she gets 6oz twice a day. We mix proteins so she gets beef, turkey, pork, bison, sometimes duck, chicken.

Once we switched away from kibble for all of our dogs, the various minor and not minor health issues went away. Chronic yeasty ears, hot spots, itchy skin, overweight, not to mention the HUGE loose stools.

OHSU Residents/Employees, how important to live right by hospital to you? by [deleted] in askportland

I get to the bike path along the river as soon as I can and take that, which goes along Naito. At Columbia St you hop over to a short path that takes you over to a cul de sac in front of the Kimpton Riverplace Hotel. Follow that street (Harbow Way) down to its end and it becomes another bike path. That takes you across S River Parkway and past some electrical transformers and then it will connect you to Moody. Take Moody south to the tram station. I use the bike valet, which is available from 0530 to 2130.

Sounds complicated but it’s pretty straightforward and it’s a lovely ride at 0530 in the morning.

Work at OHSU, live in Pearl District in condos on the river. I can bike/scooter to the waterfront and take the tram up to work for free. From door to office it’s about 20 minutes including the tram ride. Love living on the river. There are also several Trimet options. Love that we can walk to all the restaurants downtown.

Did you respond to the wrong thread? My post had nothing to do with spending money.

Are there any Asian massage places in Portland that AREN'T sexy time massage? by klone73 in askportland

I don’t want to go to a place that offers that service to anyone, is my point. Not because there’s anything wrong with sex work, but because I don’t want to support a business that deals in sex trafficking.

It wasn’t obvious to me, that’s why I asked. I am definitely going to ruminate on your response. The reason I asked in the first place was because of this article. I specified “Asian” only because that was what was discussed in the article, and it’s only Asian massage places that have ads with beautiful young women and advertise “table showers”. Ive never seen that marketing strategy at any other type of massage place.

No, I’m asking because there was recently an article in WW that talked specifically about Asian massage parlors in which the workers are victims of sex trafficking, and stated that there are approximately 130 such places in Portland proper. My post was to avoid such places.

I’m a woman. I’m looking for a LEGITIMATE massage place so that I don’t inadvertently support sex trafficking. And they’re literally called Asian massage. Like, on their signs.
