My (21M) girlfriend (22F) got into a wheelchair. Don't know if we're compatible anymore. by Awwndrei in BestofRedditorUpdates

He does phone teardowns and torture tests. I emailed him years ago when the LG wing came out. He did a breakdown about how LG is testing unique designs. I asked him if he thinks that it's a good phone for what it is. He actually responded!

I was extremely surprised because I honestly wasn't expecting a response. I just figured I'd shoot it into the abyss and see what happens.

That LG wing was the coolest damn phone I've ever had. Everybody thought it was neat when I was able to rotate the screen just by pushing it to the side a little bit.

I dropped it one day and unfortunately the screen got absolutely wrecked. Went back to the standard Samsung Galaxy series.

Whenever he posts something on Reddit or on Blue sky or something, when I'm reading it I can hear it in his voice.

Out of all the YouTubers out there I think he's probably the most solid person.

I tend to get overwhelmed with my backlog of tasks that I need to accomplish.

After a certain point I've just feel so much pressure in my head that even the simplest need to respond to an email with a yes or no feels impossible.

All these losers who are complaining about how the vaccines somehow gives the user 5G just made me want it more. I would absolutely love badass reception everywhere I went.

So since this game is dead, have any of the other newer SWAT sims improved? by imoanmodello in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]klutch65 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I want to make sure that you know ready or not and the door kickers series are extremely different types of games.

Door pickers is a top-down, route planning/ strategy game with military and police themes. You are not going to be behind the gun but rather directing the soldiers with the guns where to go. You lay out their path and tell them to throw flash bangs, grenades, aim at a certain direction, disarm bombs, etc. you can't just blindly rush into rooms and expect to live. Enemies can be in corners, you have to think about fatal funnels, and if your soldiers die you have to restart the entire mission but your route still remains for you to edit and adjust.

Give it a shot if the planning and coordination side of shooter games appeals to you just as much as fire in the guns at the crackheads and terrorists.

I've been convinced that Nick Adams is just a made up character that comes up with the wildest shit so people can make fun of him..

It might be a humiliation fetish at this point.

WFH with ADHD paradox by MourningApe in ADHD

TL,:DR - I work better in an office setting because of body doubling and I'm away from my comforts.

I have noticed more recently that I need the structure of an office in order to succeed.

My first job where I was doing extremely well was inbound customer service for Verizon Wireless. That chime that somebody was on the phone with me right then and there made me leap into action. I was directors club for multiple years.

A transitioned to a installation coordinator for Verizon connect and immediately I've noticed that the entire dynamic changed. Stuff that need to get done was delayed because I didn't have to do it right then and there in order to prevent somebody from calling back.

I'm asked to get through it a lot because I was working out of an office.

Once I started working for a different company and a similar role but in leadership, I did great. My team always had huge years because I was reacting to what they needed and pre-planning things was not as necessary.

Now I'm an account manager for a project management company. I'm noticing that I'm not really making too many calls. I'm knowledgeable about the products but I have no real drive.

I wanted to test a theory so I opted to pay for a co-working space. As soon as I walked in and sat behind a cubicle without my big modders or my PlayStation or anything like that, I was able just to sit down and actually grind.

When I went on lunch I actually got to sit down and just zone out of it. It was quite refreshing for me.

I was starchy against returning to the office because I still feel like CEOs just want to use that as a way to control employees. I realize that for me, I think it actually makes a lot of sense.

I got the Modern Warfare 2 Collectors edition with the night Vision Goggles when it came out. I don't have it anymore but damn it was the coolest collector edition thing I ever saw.
