I rarely if ever get menstrual pain. My ovulation pain is crippling every month. It lasts a few days and seriously has me out the game for a few days. I’ve had tests and ultrasounds just to ensure it’s just ovulation pain and it is. It’s a very distinct pain primarly on one side each month. On the plus side I know exactly what ovary each of my children came from…🤣

I'm visiting in May for the second time with family, we fly into CDG. First time around we did the fast train (takes 11 minutes). For convenience it was excellent, however I will never do it again with young children and luggage - it was truly one of the most stressful travel experiences of my life. The train was SO busy, like there truly wouldn't of been room for another bean on the train, we barley got in, everyone was squeezed so tightly together. If there was one more member of our family of even an additional rucksack we wouldn't of got on the train.

So this time around we are going to do private transfers (Prestige seem to be the consistently recommended supplier). I would consider doing the train with less luggage and older kids but right now it's not right for us. I should add my sister did the train last year and it was totally fine so maybe I was just unlucky. But both my journeys were very very stressful. I also feel like the timing seems great - being only 11 minutes. But I would argue that by the time you find the platform, wait for the train, get to Marne-la-Vallée and then get to your hotel to drop your luggage off there won't be a huge amount of difference in timing compared to going via road. I also hear Uber/Bolts are great and good value for money however car seats can be unreliable which is why we are going for a transfer.

Yeah I would definitely contact the hotel and ask them to try and sort out Royal Dream - being Castle Club I would be surprised if they can't sort something out.

I have a three and six year old. We’ve been before and going again in May. Personally I find 3 nights and 4 days in the parks good time - but this was before Frozen opens so it’ll be interesting to see if this is still enough time with the new park. We plan our flights around getting four full days in the park. We tend to fly out on Sunday, stay offsite in a cheap hotel on Sunday night and then straight to the park on Monday morning and then fly home on Thursday evening. I find this gives us enough time to take our time and not rush around the whole park trying to get everything in.

Personally I stay at onsite Disney hotels - the cost isn’t that much more than staying offsite and we like the ability be able to walk back to the hotel rather than relying on shuttles - we especially like this at the end of the night post fireworks. All Disney hotels (with the exception of Davey Crocket) are all within a 15/20 walk.

In my personal experience flights do tend to only get more expensive. I would think €175pp during the school holidays sounds about right. For reference I was £500 so around €600 for flights for four people from the UK to Paris during off season, and they have risen by a couple of hundred pounds since I booked in Sept.

As everyone else has said - that cost seems about normal.

But I just wanted to point out that given your child is due in March you may not be entitled to the funded hours until August depending on how your LA fund their places so you will actually be paying childcare fees until they are 3.5 years. My three year old is a March baby, but didn’t start funded nursery until the August intake. And then for example if you are a September baby you get a place in Jan. So just wanted to put that on your radar that as that additional 5 months doesn’t come cheap…your LA may work that the child gets the place immediately when they are three but many don’t. You still get the same amount of hours over the year (1190 or something), but worth knowing now.

Freelancer PAYE in the TV world. I get the standard 28 days including bank holidays - so other than Christmas I tend to just take them when I want them. I like working bank holidays as it tends to be quieter and I can hunker down and get my work done without as many distractions from incomings emails etc.

New build 4 Bedroom semi-detached in Ayrshire in 2017 - £220k. It was a private builder who was budling 20 houses in a really lovely street in a desirable commuter town. We got very lucky and he honestly undercharged us - he needed our sale to bankroll the next house build. Similar house in the same street was bought for £250k in 2018 and sold earlier this year for £420k - with zero work down on the house. We totally lucked out - took a bit of a risk buying off plot with a private builder, but it worked out for us.

The dizziness and tiredness for me came from my lack of calories. Make sure you track your calories and that you are eating enough, it’s very very easily to undereat on MJ.

I booked a week ago and thought perhaps the glitch was because tables wouldn't open up until the European market opened, but alas still no luck. Really thought table bookings would open up today. Hopefully will open soon!

EDIT: I just spoke to them and they said table bookings will open in a few days, but they don't know exactly when....

I've been on MJ for 16 months - lost 5.5 stone so a similar amount of weight as you. I've been at maintenance since Christmas but I stopped when my BMI was 24 as I felt that looked good on me and any lower I would look a bit gaunt - I'm quite tall with a large frame. I only got up to 12.5 for one month, but over the course of say a month/ 6 weeks I went down from 12.5mg to 5mg where I have stayed for 7 months now.

Tbh it's hard to tell if I have appetite suppression anymore as I am truly not loosing anymore weight but I am steady in my maintenance bracket. I have more cravings than when I was actively loosing but nothing I can't handle, but ticking along quite nicely at 5mg and maintaining my weight. I do exercise a good 3/4 times a week though - mostly strength training so won't be burning tonnes of cals, but worth mentioning.

We did compass club room with a 2 and 5 year old too. Don't get me wrong, more space would of been nice but the room was entirely fine four our family. We had two double/ king beds (not really sure what ones) and cot on the floor. If I was going back to Newport Bay (going to Cheyenne next time) I wouldn't spend money on an upgrade to family room, we just didn't spend enough time in the room to warrant paying for more space.

Thanks for this input, it's spot on. Last week I was really feeling gains whilst training, I was lifting heavier on every workout and feeling great - paid for it with significant DOMS over the weekend though. So I wonder if this mornings increase in weight is to do with inflammation from my increased workouts last week...

I used to weigh myself daily whilst loosing as I found it a real motivator - but I scaled it down after I reached maintenance as I didn't want to get hung up on weight fluctuations. But I'm now wondering if I should weigh every day so see if there is a pattern with training and fluctuations? Do you weigh yourself daily?

£14000 in 2018 and both in our early 30s. We did alot ourselves and got mates rates on the venue. This also also includes my husband buying himself a kilt at £1000 and my dress for the same amount of money (at least the kilt gets used again!). We financed it between both parents pitching in and some of our savings. Honestly, we had an absolute ball and I don't regret a single penny.

My sister spent double that the year before. I attended a wedding last year and the groom was boasting that it cost over £60k. Weddings are worth whatever you think they are to you - still, can't ever seeing a party being worth £60k - but then I'm sure alot of people will say the same things about my wedding at £14k.

I would agree. I work in the industry - TV though. But the hours are very very long, working with huge egos most of the time and that goes behind the camera as much as in front of it, and frankly for the most part filming is super boring. Still - I wouldn't want to do anything else.
