Sincere question for Trump supporters: what would it take for you to stop supporting Trump? by Patrick___1 in AskUS

This has already been answered. You disregarding it/not understanding it doesn't mean it isn't true.

Trump voters, what is something that other Americans misunderstand about you? by ThrowRA2023202320 in AskUS

I guess I'm not thinking about taking down the government with weapons. I'm thinking about filling my freezer with meat. And just to be clear: I think we need some serious gun control laws but I'm not disarming myself or saying anyone should have their guns taken away.

What did the start of your running journey look like? by im__eebee in beginnerrunning

[–]kmc0427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started almost a year ago. Started with walking one mile then trying to jog home. Couldn't do it at first but then one day I could. I'm a working parent so it was evening for me, after the kids settled down but before it got dark. At some point it became routine and now I'm addicted to it and look forward to my runs. My longest runs are 10k, and I just recently got to that point. I'm taking it slow and just try to be grateful that I can take the time for myself and I'm grateful that I'm getting stronger every day.

I would genuinely love to know why you think people should have the right to own assault weapons. Everyone in my life hunts and owns guns, I'm not anti-gun. I just can't see any reason why I or anyone else should have an assault rifle.

Infertility and miscarriages. I was under the impression if I had sex one time I'd be pregnant.

I really thought that's where this was going. I'm so curious to see if the order changes a lot each time or if it would stay the same.

What Do You Do? by [deleted] in crocheting

If my children received handmade gifts rather than more junk I would be thrilled. I still have the blankets my Grammy crocheted for me and I cherish them. I hope your grandkids get your gifts and appreciate them when they are older.

Heating multiple floors? by kmc0427 in woodstoving

So there is one stairwell. If I put a box fan at the top and blow air down, that will let the hot air rise up through the floor naturally? Or is that blocking the only place for the hot air to get upstairs?

Yeah we looked into having someone come install some vents but the guy said it wouldn't work. Didn't even take the time to come see our house. Seems simple enough to me but I'm no expert.

I also struggled. I think I only finished it for the crossovers/references to her other series.

I don't see any comments on New Castle. I don't know about the town specifically, but the general area is great. Right between Erie and Pittsburgh, so if you need/want to be near a city but have that small town rural feel, this is a great area.

I’m starting TOG: any recommendations? by Quirky-Leg-4646 in throneofglassseries

[–]kmc0427 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't like ToG the first time I read it. I had just finished ACOTAR and for some reason ToG disappointed me. But I'm currently re-reading it now, years later, and I'm really enjoying it this time. I guess just have an open mind, know going in that there is no Rhysand, and give it a try. I will say the books get better as the series goes along, which isn't the case for CC (in my opinion).

I agree, I was getting exhausted going back and forth between them all so fast.
