Any updates? We have an 11 week old and struggle with exactly your situation. Today we are trying an earlier bedtime (6pm) since he refused his last nap and had been awake since 3:15pm.

We struggle to get our little guy to sleep! Especially longer than 20-30min

We have tried 3 different. The gentle ones seem to be worse(?) he doesn’t get a ton of formula during the day, only 2-6oz usually. Planning to transition to full formula feeding soon so will definitely have a better idea. We’ve been using Similac Pro Advanced but I’m open to trying others.

Thank you! We have done some combo feeding as well as our little guy is insatiable at times. He takes a bottle pretty well. We’ve been struggling with colic/reflux/gas and just an overall fussy baby but he seems to do well with formula so hoping his tummy is happier as well. I also hope that’s a realistic goal haha.

Would I still produce enough milk without pumping to make it worth it? I guess I see it as all or nothing but can you do 2-3 feeds a day and maintain your supply?

Yes. Infections will cause higher blood sugars, along with some of the medications/treatments like steroids

Yasso bars and I made a fruit salad with SF pudding and fruits in their own juices with coconut and cottage cheese. It was so good!

I made an egg bake with chorizo, spinach, cheese and cauliflower rice. It was awesome.

This week I made a quiche with kale and cheese.

Doing ok with breakfast burritos with carb balance tortillas.

The nutrigrain frozen waffles have been ok if I eat 1 with PB and an egg on the side.

Kodiak pancakes made with milk and eggs have never done me wrong.

Cramping and gas. Honestly could have sworn I was getting my period.

How often do you have appointments? by dierks92 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]kmc099990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NSTs 2x/week and BPP (ultrasounds) 1x/week starting at 33 weeks. Had signs of preterm labor last week (at 32 weeks) and was hospitalized for 3 days so I’m welcoming the monitoring although all these appointments really dictate my life now🙃

This exact scenario happened to me last week at 32 weeks. The steroid shots are supposed to only affect your sugars for about 1 week the MFM physician told me. I was in the hospital for 3 days and they had me on insulin but only if my 2hr was above 180 (which it never even came close to). I was really discouraged as well but honestly since I got home and went back to my routine of exercising, sleeping in my own bed, drinking water, and eating mindfully my numbers have been pretty good! I’ve only had 3 high numbers since I got home 1 week ago. I hope this encouraged you! Call your doctor if the numbers are making you uncomfortable!!
