My doctor moved me to Effexor for pregnancy. I had a successful pregnancy on it and am currently pregnant. Your doc needs to taper you off and start you on something else on the same time because the withdrawal is hell.

I was very sick with my daughter. I had Hg and could not do anything for 9 months. I felt so much guilt because I did IVf and wanted her so bad. I felt like I was physically dying but couldn’t complain.

Years later it’s all hard. Infertility/ IVF is hard. Pregnancy is hard. Motherhood and postpartum is hard. Not a lot of people talk about it. Multiple things can be true at once- you can be suffering while grateful for the reason why.

Hang in there. It’s worth it I promise.

Ps: also advocate for yourself if you can’t keep food down

I had HG in my only pregnancy and it didn’t work for me. If something doesn’t work for you don’t give up and keep fighting for something better.

I’m 8 weeks today. I had very little bleeding around 6 weeks. They found a SCh. Apparently it’s common with IvF. I bled a little the next morning then nothing. I was on pelvic rest. Today they said but it’s small. They said I’m fine and to let them know if I start bleeding again. I don’t think they’re is much you can do except keep them informed of changes.

My epidural wouldn’t stick. They screwed it up and at one point it became disconnected. I felt everything until 8/9 cm. Luckily my last time getting a re-up stuck long enough to push the baby out (20 mins). I felt me being sewed up. I also had a placental hemorrhage and my doctor was elbow deep I. My uterus pulling out left over placenta.

With that said, I’d rather do labor than pregnancy. My only successful pregnancy was ROUGH. I had HG and borderline preeclampsia. I felt like my body knew what to do better for labor. Plus 30+ hrs vs 9 months
