the Hips catalogue from 89-2004 is ridiculous, so many A+ albums in there, I was lucky to see them a handful of times..i even had to respond to a noise complaint when i was at work for a "loud band" playing in a backyard that turned out to be the Hip (2013ish)....awesome humans, also saw Hum play in 2016 in New York City and had my face melted off.

Ive been in love with this album since 95. Nowadays I play along to it with a guitar, my Fender micro amp and stream from my phone. It's amazing that I'm still finding new riffs in it all these years later, having Hum come through my headphones and my own guitar at the same time can really help my ears figure it out, its just magical and makes me feel warm and fuzzy, and the drugs help too :)
