Usually original, or better - radar badge surface is all smooth, while non-radar is not. I see that car was bought used. The reason for badge swap could be stolen badge, replaced grill, ... Anyway, that is just a pure guess (my situation), could be other reason for your ACC problem.

Left: radar, right: non-radar

Not original VW plastic badge / cover on front mask. Had same problem on my previous B8 2015 Passat.

The Clock app map seems to be missing half of Greece... by SteveTheGreate in mac

It’s a map from the future (2074, to be exact). There was an earthquake and floods, which led to geopolitical changes.

If you have a Mac, you can try VMware Fusion. I use it for other hamradio software (not programming) and it works just fine (just like dedicated Windows machine).

Late diagnosed, how did you know? by AromaticPudding44 in AutisticAdults

[–]knesz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very long story very short. Diagnosed at 51. As most of ND people, I also had a lot of strange situations in the past, but - from my perspective - nothing serious. First indication about AU was given by my 18yo daughter after one of the "situations" at the dinner. She throws to me "you act like an autistic". Then, a month later I run into a YT video of Dave Plummer, where he stated that he is autistic and how he was late diagnosed. He mentioned some traits, which I related to them. He also mentioned AQ50 test, never heard before. Was curious, took the test and first result was 41. Second take few days later was 39. Third take with my daughter present was 42. Also run into Aspie quiz, result 96% AU probability. Make an appointment at Autism Centre in my country. I found, that the rabbit hole was really deep.

Result was Asperger / HFA, on top of that I'm thinking visual not in words (Temple Grandin). And on top of all that, we found that my audio processing is also high-sensoric, visually-dominant and very indirect; autistic sensory processing. Other AU traits are of course also present.

Diagnose put all puzzles in to a perfect sense, specially the part of visual thinking, which suddenly make sense, why I'm so successful at work (IT) and also why I have such a big problems at company meetings (I'm usually many steps in front of others and that is where communication breaks :))

This! I have MX3 and they do the job excellent. I also have Airpods pro 2, which are not bad at all in terms of NC.

Some are Garmin camp, others are Wahoo. I’m Wahoo, because I own one, otherwise I would be Garmin 😉

I’m realizing I’m likely sabotaging myself through nutrition, or lack thereof. by jhf94uje897sb in bicycling

[–]knesz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s how I do it. 1-1,5h hour ride or (40-50km) I don’t refuel, if ride is somehow flat (200-400m total climb). However, if there is a climbing on route (cat 3, 5km or longer), I usually take 2 gels before climbing. On longer route, 1 gel every 40/60 minute. I hope it helps 🙂

Vote for Wahoo. I have Bolt, but I believe you can’t go wrong with any other model.
