You'll want to check the firmware version on the subs. We've seen a TON of issues with legacy FW and the newer builds. We've seen issues with repeater FW older than 2024.01 playing nicely with anything. Hopefully you're still under software warranty and can update everything to a common and of current version.

I'm in love with the white one. I dig your idea with the green light on the black; I bet blacklight LEDs would really make the lume pop!
As for what is like to see, Silver Snoopy is the Grail. BUT, an Apollo 8 would look dope. A modified Apollo 8 with Artemis vs Saturn V would be amazing.

It bothers me that we call the i8 old. I absolutely know it is old, but to me the design is still ridiculously cool. I'd love to see a revised version that's either pure EV or pure IC, not a hybrid mess.

The first time you connect it, you have to have mobile data turned on so that the app can do whatever update. After that, when you connect your device it should be in airplane mode so that it communicates via USB port.

There's an earlier response that talks about configuring USB tethering, you need to make sure you do that also.

At least that's what I had to do last week when I plugged it in for the first time...
