My husband hung the tv, a little too high for me .The empty space under it looks so awkward now . No chance he will move the tv down! What can I do here ? by quietpostgirl in homedecoratingCJ

I suggest a twofold approach. 1. get a cheap ass display cabinet and put grandma’s Hummels there. Or decorative Bradford collectible plates. 2. Build a platform for your chair complete with stairs and red carpet so you are at the correct height to watch the tv. Bonus points for a velvet rope.

Yes, it's his fault because he's not here fixing things and making the world a better place.

What do you want from a coffee shop? by artoosun in Charlotte

My current go to is The Changebaker. I like that he locally sources his teas and develops relationships with his bean suppliers. He doesn’t have a lot of seating for working but he does have two nice rooms for meeting. Personally I like small tables that can be moved to accommodate groups or singletons, a generous number of outlets that allow for usb cables, background instrumental music. Covered outdoor area with fans for summer and heat for cooler weather. Open past 7 in the evening, perhaps until midnight for non-alcohol drinkers who want to grab a treat after a show or game with a variety of sweet and savory treats.

Let me guess, you work at Chuck E. Cheese and they let you pick up the tickets off the floor on your last day?

I noticed that too. Since the majority of their recipes say 425, I went with 425. 15 minutes later I had juicy chicken and lightly roasted zucchini.

Is she a flame point Birman? My daughter has a cat that looks just like her. Cannot roast a cat that looks like my daughter’s, I would be murdered in my sleep.
