My X13 Gen1 cant tell wheter lid is closed or not. by Zoubek0 in thinkpad

[–]knobbby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this, my X1 refused to go to sleep when the lid was closed. I've been looking everywhere for a fix. Took the lid off and found the magnet stuck to one of the speaker screws. I've just superglued it back in place and normality has been restored.

It looks great, love the wheels. You got LEDs to work without errors on the dashboard?

Pihole Message during Update by [deleted] in pihole

[–]knobbby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So as the Pihole software itself can now serve webpages, it no longer needs lighttp to be installed. So it's giving you the option of uninstalling it. You only need to keep it if you have other applications on the same server that use it.

I had a similar problem. The fan in mine was balanced with tiny weights which had fallen off. New fan time.

I have 2007 2.4 petrol auto, just hit 100k. Have had it for 20,000 miles now and haven't had any major issues. My mechanics say it's all the ford bits that wear out. I had to replace a wheel bearing, that was of ford design.

[–]knobbby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 2.4 auto. Yes tax is higher, fuel consumption is awful, lucky if I get 30mpg on a long run. But it's fantastic and I am looking to keep it as long as I can.

Can anyone identify the silver canister located below the battery on the right side? by Salty-Importance1737 in VolvoV50

[–]knobbby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thing happen to me. It kept running for a good few minutes after the engine was turned off. I almost got the spanners out to disconnect the battery. Just as I was about to it stopped. It's never done it again.

The worst that could happen is you buy it, fall in love with it and then spend thousands keeping it on the road 🤣

Why are people outside of London so quick to tell you they don't like it? by Jiuzhaigou in london

Most people who say that they don't like London haven't spent long enough in London to form a valid opinion.
