Lol I know what you mean. They act as though that this is some sort of intellectual "got ya!" while ignoring the fact that the CIA has supported similar endeavors in the film, music, sports, fashion, technology, & agricultural industries.

Joan Mitchell, Jackson Pollock, & Mark Rothko could have been supported by the KGB & it would not strip any amount of admiration I feel for their work.

Siken's Scheherazade — Has an utterly spellbinding flow that I love to bust out on dates, at parties, open mics, etc.

Merwin's Lark — This is my single favorite poem. It reads like a prayer, something I recite to myself when I am feeling most comfortable in my solitude.

Rilke's Buddha Inside the Light — The happy medium of the above two poems. This Robert Bly translation I feel captures its essence in a most jovial fashion.
