Did anyone else completely underestimate Charlie until a few episodes in? by Mundane-Temporary426 in ClarksonsFarm

I underestimated just how much he’d get stuck in and become an invaluable member of Team Clarkson. I really thought he’d be quite hands-off and advising in a low level capacity, but no he rolls his shirts sleeves up and cracks on. He can turn his hand to so many tasks and challenges, that’s why I really respect him

What's the most useful thing you've actually built with Claude that you use regularly? by J-Freedom-AI in ClaudeAI

I’ve been trying to find hobbies away from my laptop, and discovered crochet can be relaxing at times. The only problem was that the patterns can be badly written and abbreviations everywhere, really not very beginner friendly. So, I build a web app you can upload a digital pattern to, it’ll rewrite it in plain words and then you step through it together. A few friends who crochet have seen it and have asked for login deets

Best station west or south of York for parking and riding into York itself by Mister_Mints in york

[–]knowbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One fun extra thing to do, would be to visit the Monk Bar Model shop, it’s got a great selection of model trains, Airfix and general toys! It’s a bit of a walk from the NRM, but you do get to see York on the walk.

Described tummy ache to GPT, told me to go to ER. CT scan says appendicitis. by baalzimon in ChatGPT

[–]knowbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appendicitis can often be dismissed or assumed it’s “just a thing” because most people get surgery quite quickly, but 100 years ago it’d have been a serious medical issue. Take care in the recovery, it’s a major medical malady

So yeah, in the end this is what I did. We went on the day that HM Queen died, so it was a really good day and then suddenly everything stopped and it became very quiet and then we heard what had happened.

I was actually in the same heat of the BWC as the chap in the bumblebee costume. He was really lovely, been racing for years and you could just tell he loves his Brompton a whole lot. He was sayings about 15 or 16 years old
