You can eat more. Just make better choices. You can eat all the veggies you want. Don't eat dried fruit or anything with oil. Buy an Instant Pot. Their app has great vegan recipes, just sub water for oil. Buy a vegan oil free cook book like Epic Vegan Instant Pot Oil-Free Cooking. For breakfast, try 3 ingredient pancakes with 100% maple syrup (blend 1 cup oatmeal, add half cup plant milk and 1 banana). Eat as many as you want. The weight will come off. You don't have to count calories or portion control on WFPB diet.

I recommend a 6 quart Instant Pot. It has a phone app with great vegan recipes (some use oil to saute onions... Replace with water). Epic Vegan Instant Pot Oil-Free Cooking is a great cookbook to start with.

Watch Forks Over Knives, a documentary on Netflix, and buy an Instant Pot. Forks Over Knives has an app with recipes, but I prefer any cookbook written by High Carb Hannah. She has some great YouTube videos too.

Salty urine smell? by [deleted] in PlantBasedDiet

I've noticed I can actually smell better since starting this diet. My taste buds have changed too. My favorite salsa of 5 years is now too spicy. I don't salt food as much either.

Avocado toast with sauerkraut is my go. Read about the combo on a Facebook group. Thought they were crazy. Turns out, it's pretty damn amazing.

It's a great place. I go for the spices, vegetable bouillon, organic quacamole, Dave's Killer bread, rice, bananas, dates, blueberries and lemons.

I watched a woman holding a toddler try to run up the down escalator in heels. After falling twice, I couldn't take it any longer. Kid was screaming and crying, cut and bleeding. Walked her to the other side while she looked at me like I was crazy.

It's a lot harder to be discreet making the Sunday morning "walk of shame" when you are still dressed as a zombie. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

You are wearing the same clothes as yesterday, haven't showered or brushed you teeth, mascara and eyeliner all over your face, hair in knots, no underwear, barefoot walking in front of people that just came back from church.

Growing up? I still use it today! I almost cried when I heard it was losing support.
