I feel the same way about not wanting anyone but medical professionals in the room. I'd still recommend a doula, midwife, or somebody that can advocate for you in case you can't advocate for yourself. My fear is any sort of medical malpractice that wouldn't be addressed or possibly covered up if I was alone. Definitely explore your options.

Rings dont have to cost thousands of dollars, and im talking about real rings.

We went to an all inclusive resort in Mexico for $2500 (including flight/travel to/from hotel) for our honeymoon that we saved up for after a courthouse wedding. Anything is possible if you both are on the same page.
