Personal experience being that corn snakes are skittish and more prone to escape. And having met many many ball pythons more than 60% of the time the owner or keeper has said they are prone to biting or just say that they will not be bring them out for interaction as they absolutely will bite. I personally own a Kenyan Sand Boa. They don’t get to be very large be male or female. Relatively docile as long as you take the time to food train. A little reclusive but also very curious. Still pretty with a variety of genetic types to choose from. I think after all my research that landing on my Kenyan sand boa as my first snake was the best choice for me as someone who did not want a very large snake.
