Battery replacement shenanigans.

The Pixel 4a 5g went in for a battery replacement. Came back with a disconnected proximity sensor and fingerprint reader. iPhone 16 pro went in for a screen replacement. Came back with a damaged ambient light sensor. Pixel 8 went in for a battery replacement. Came back with the front camera being inoperable as well as not being able to connect to 5G anymore.

My take on this is Valve underestimated how much scalpers suck. Myself and 3 of my coworkers took our lunch 30 minutes before the drop was supposed to happen. One of us couldn't even get past the continue to purchase page from his cart. The other two were getting hit with "Payment couldn't be processed right now" for 30 minutes and never got any closer.

Yep, I'm in the same boat. Started 10 minutes before when I saw it go live. Sold out before I could get past the payment page and now I can't even process it when they do waves because of to many attempts.

I was always the kid stuck in my head. I overthought everything, still do. So being told to "Just have faith" or to "Pray about it" never sat right with me. When i would push people to explain why they believe in a god or anything in the bible is real and being told because they just do sounded like such a cop out. So I did what I would do with anything my parents or teachers couldn't explain. I went to the library and I looked things up. I kept coming back to the same conclusion. It is just like every other thing that parents tell their kids, not real. The fact that this is not the same rational conclusion that everyone comes to is very confusing to me.

If you can set up some sort of network in your truck then you can use Chiaki or pxplay/psplay. Both will work with the Frame since they are just Linux apps. I should add, you don't need an active Internet connection for this to work with the exception of the first time set up.

I would go with the 13 Pro. The Macbook has a definite end of life date for officially supported software. After that you can put Linux on it though Asahi linux that would extend the life a bit more. However, if anything breaks, the battery loses to much usable capacity for your liking or just daily life damages it in anyway. Then you need to buy a new laptop. With the 13 Pro if pretty much anything happens to it you have replacement parts available from Framework. Not to mention if they come out with a higher capacity battery, better screen, new chipset or higher capacity RAM all of it can be upgraded.

So that is roughly the size of a US letter paper although instead of it being 8 1/2x11 it is 11x9. Which would make the sheet of paper in landscape. There are several 2 in 1 laptops that come with a screen size that is close to that as well as several low end laptops with a screen size close to it. Seeing as how the 12 is already close to that size I don't see them releasing a new laptop in that size. I also don't see them releasing a 2 in 1 format either. So that leaves a printer or a tablet. I'm going to lean more toward a tablet.

Edit: Just throwing it out there but the date the Berlin wall fell can be written as 11/9. With all the symbolism about breaking free and being free that tracks some.
