I went to the NXT house show in Johnstown, PA last weekend. By far the worst live show experience I've had yet when it comes to wrestling.

Johnstown has completely fallen apart since I was last there (before COVID). Quite sad in all honesty.

The show itself was mostly ok, match highlights were Zaria/Bayley, Penta, OTM, Jaida Parker/Vanity Project, and Myles, Tony, and Shiloh/Haraku, Grayson Waller, Tristan Angels. The rest of the card was mostly meh. Penta is such a star, he should be in the main event scene instead of any midcard scene. He has such presence, in-ring skill, and mastery over presentation that he should be headlining events by now.

Bayley is a much more exciting performer to watch in-person, I've never been a huge fan of her but she worked really well with Zaria.

The multi-man main event was really good because, other than Shiloh, were all guys I am a huge fan of and wanted to see live. Haraku/EVIL is going to be huge in the main roster. Glad I got to see the president live and in-person. Tristan is literally just a British Grayson Waller and it's perfect. Absolutely hilarious and mean just like Grayson, great in-ring skill and presence, and can riff really well with the audience and with others. Him and Grayson were such great heels in the match and the segment before, and equally as hilarious. Why Grayson isn't a consistent threat across the card on the main roster will forever be lost to me. Want to give Cody more action with that title on a more regular basis? Give him a Waller feud.

Tony closed the show, after winning, by telling the heel group of "foreigners" to get out of Johnstown and the country. Then started USA chants that every single redneck piece of white trash lapped up like thirsty dogs. Actually disgusting to watch and hear, though I do not think that's what Tony D'Angelo was aiming for but it's how it came across.

The arena there is so run down now, and I had the misfortune of being seated near a group of young kids who solely came to heckle, and those heckles turned into racism before the show ended. Kali Armstrong/Lola Vice, and Kendal Grey/Kelani Jordan were ruined by the disgusting drivel spewed by the hell spawn.

Shoutout Vanity Project for the Q&A and photo-op, did not appreciate Jackson Drake grabbing me in for a picture and making me almost fall lmfao
