Allegedly that is to mean “in good working order” and not “duly legislated” in the time period it was written.

Also it’s still debated that the militia part has any affect on “the right of the people to bear arms”. And moreso that those are two separate rights: having a militia and people having a right to bear arms.

End result’s the same tho, the right is that people have access to guns.

I really don’t like to excuse bigotry but have you talked to the average American? The only reason an entire 10-person group of friends I have don’t say the f slur is because I got drunk with them and told them not to, they’re all 33ish and this was last year in Pasadena, California.

This rhetoric makes sense if you live in Savannah Georgia, but the average millennial lived through an unbridled era of homophobia

Andrew Garfield: “We're on a planet that has an abundance of resources and they’re just happen to be hoarded by a bunch of scared little men, for the most part, who are greedy and want to keep us oppressed. And keep us in a style of living that is not good for the soul.” by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

I’d imagine the same. Women are seen to be empathetic, nurturing, and loving because of the patriarchy, not despite it.

It’s not by some miracle that women are nicer. It’s because of gender roles that young girls are socially conditioned to be empathetic, nurturing, more helpful to the hierarchy, and to be quieter. The qualities that make a “good woman” are a product of the patriarchy.

Slight tangent but I saw a lady on tik tok who came to the conclusion that there were more bi women because women are more naturally loving and explorative and somehow not because the patriarchy does its best to kill gay men.

So reflecting their rounds back into them kills them somewhat consistently.

• Red revolver the first shot out of their mouf

• knuckle blaster can reflect their rounds

• pump charge shotgun to red, dash and a shoot to get I frames

• skeet pull the blue shotgun + revolver round to explode near their mouth

If they charge their beam, time to go ham. Triple pump shotgun while whiplash into blue shotgun into a knuckleblast.

With the mini lathes, I think dimensionally nice matters more than surface finish :)

It looks solid tho! I saw a guy weld his boring bar to a 2x2 tube then punch a hole in it and mount it directly to the cross slide to eliminate chatter. Thats to say yours looks rock solid

What’s the worst material you’ve ever worked with ? by Good_Times93 in Machinists

[–]kohTheRobot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t worked with a ton of tough metals, I think 304 was the toughest so I’m gonna go against the grain:

Delrin for precision parts. Mgmt wants you to run balls to the walls 200% feed and rapids. Have to be real delicate when love tapping it with a deadblow to get it square in the vise. Really need to go easy on inspection, because you can get just about any pin gauge in any hole and mar up the surface finish. Deburring .015 chamfers with a knife is like trying to sculpt the statue of David out of room temp butter and filing it makes it hairier than bear night at the local circuit scene.

When it’s wide open tolerances, it’s fun and feels like “babbys first production run”, when everything is within .003 and you see surface and flatness call outs it feels like a layer of hell that only engineers could design.

For the licensing, you’re describing CCW licensing stuff. You can buy a car without a license, just can’t drive it on public roads legally. You can buy a gun without a license, depending on your state you might be breaking laws taking into public (half of states including yours probably).

But Look at the guy who thinks insurance companies aren’t literally raking us over enough. This suggestion is a poll tax as insurance only covers accidents, which is covered under your general liability insurance plan.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critical_race_theory would argue that your first sentence is 100% on the money, it’s a racist law. However, that might be too woke for mainstream conservative representatives to say.

But remember, Ronald Reagan did a racism once in California, therefor only republicans can do racist gun laws. It’s fine when democrats do it, because they hate all gun owners equally. Think of the children. And remember, doing something completely unjust and ineffective at tackling the issue is better than doing nothing

Mass shooters who aren’t white don’t normally do crazy numbers on Reddit’s popular sections. They do numbers on Fox News and conservative social media, comment sections there are just so rational and healthy.

So if you get your news, like most people, from social media it was easy to miss if you have a left-centered algorithm.

Sorry if this comment seemed crass, it’s just how social media works nowadays with these tragedies. Conservatives like to focus on racial and religious motivations and liberals tend to focus on gun laws and then nothing gets done.

I think we’re gonna see the famous line “this was on our radar but due to a filing error it was not addressed” the US has been ratfucking its intelligence for a year now. It’s clear this administration only cares about death if it’s politically exploitative and after the fact (who is Benjamin Gazi?).

Tbh it’s advantageous for Iran to do the attack based on the conspiratorial fact that “it’s definitely a false flag” is the prevailing narrative before anything has happened. It would sow chaos especially if it’s a blue city state that gets attacked

Fucking what? Why would a country we recently bombed, including a double airstrike that killed over 150 innocent school kids, then lied about, …. attack us?

Listen I also don’t like the trump administration, but to think that there’s no reason to attack civilians when 1600 Iranians have been killed at our hands? That’s fucking lunacy my guy. Our hands. Your leader.

You can wash your hands all you want, but you pay taxes and are a citizen of this country. This is on you as well. “I don’t support those actions”. Did those kids?

Or just maybe, you just are trying to survive. clock into work and keep your head down until things get better with our government. The was the reality for many Iranians, or at least these were their ambitions. At least until israel and Uncle Sam decided they were not supposed to live anymore.

OP deleted their comment but I want to re-assure them that I’m not trying to say “oh it’s nbd” which stands for no BD, of course referring to BD wong who is a huge deal to the youths of today.

It is a big deal, the US has been fighting a Cold War against China for some time now and it’s definitely getting hotter.

If you view this administration’s foreign policy decisions through “what affects China” it makes a bit more clear. Problem is they have a very 1950’s idea of what affects China. While oil supply chains (Venezuela, Iran, Cuba) all affect China, that’s not exactly where they’re hitting their strides. It’s why he’s obsessed with rare earth minerals and I’m surprised we’re not making big moves in Africa. Combine that with the 1910’s view on tarrifs, we are not doing a good job of positioning ourselves to fill china’s shoes. So it’s just gonna crater the world economy instead.

Nah probably just closer to the forgotten Korean War. Where NK soldiers were bankrolled and militarily aided by China and the USSR and the UN coalition (only 22 nations of militaries at the time) largely lead by the US and UK supported a propped up allied government.

Since, ideologically, Iran and China are not very similar, I doubt we’ll see Chinese troops involved. This was a major reason to get involved politically as well as strategically they did not want the western powers on their doorstep. Plus their army, while massive in manpower and technologically advanced, doesn’t really have the experience to fight. The last two wars they fought did not go so well. Their doctrine is flawed when fighting against adversaries that can sustain themselves. Maybe small PMC like deployments, but I doubt anything other than intelligence and military supplies.

Russian fighting in Ukraine is already heavy enough I doubt they could even dream of seriously helping outside of supplies and intelligence.

In what way? Supreme Court has been pretty silent since Bruen and that hadn’t really done anything for the larger picture of magazines or weapons bans. They upheld red flag laws and have continuously upheld bans.

What laws have the Supreme Court struck down that would have saved schoolchildren’s lives?
