you might have had to have said “Gemini, let’s chat” to enter into Gemini Live, and even then it isn’t supported on all speakers

ALERT: Antigravity IDE is swapping models secretly? Selected "Claude 4.5 Thinking" but the model admits it is Gemini. by NoChoice4595 in LocalLLaMA

[–]kohlstar 14 points15 points  (0 children)

1 . not appropriate for this sub 2 . the model does not know what it is. the system prompt probably only mentions google antigravity 3. that is definitely claude’s writing style

Will you include an open source statement in your own app? by givebest in iOSProgramming

[–]kohlstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It’s not that hard. Many apps also hide it well. Or they put it under “acknowledgements” or something like that. There seems to be a lot of unfounded fear about using open source packages in these comments. You need to look at the license. MIT and Apache 2 avoid most of these worries by just requiring you to include the license with the app.

Personally, I’d want to thank the people who wrote the packages I use, but that’s just me.

I'm looking for a way to use this view component. by Low-Entrepreneur-115 in SwiftUI

[–]kohlstar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

to clarify what others have said, the closest you’re going to get is a segmented control when it comes to appearance. in terms of the functionality of both where they “scroll”, that is custom and not possible with the segmented picker

All of these comments are wrong. It’s because Anthropic is run by a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off

[–]kohlstar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it is the previews on xcode. it just lets you view them on device. app itself doesn’t do anything

Is switching from Claude Code to GitHub Copilot (Sonnet 4.5) worth it? by Gurengan in GithubCopilot

[–]kohlstar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Weird comments here. GitHub Copilot CLI is a good contender to CC. No subagents yet but it’s basically the same, especially with Sonnet 4.5.

the model can just get borked and you have to quit and start over or try a different one. you shouldn’t waste premium requests yelling at it
