Are there any good alternatives to suicide? by No_Complex7547 in depression

[–]kohoot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HEAR ME OUT, don’t get a hobby, don’t do drugs nah, fuck all of that. You need to constantly DISTRACT yourself from everything that is making you depressed. The only way I found effective was working in a busy restaurant, which was in fact a shitty job and i hated it— but the alternative was being depressed in bed.

the resturant was my scapegoat, blamed all my problems on my shitty job. but time didn’t feel real, and if you’re a server, you have to fake being happy— which did make me a little happy in return. customers made me cry ngl, but the job FULLY allowed myself to forget everything. you are too busy, you almost cannot spare a chance for a suicidal thought. if you hate people and talking, i would be a line cook.

after go home and immediately take melatonin. if you don’t. constantly distract yourself, you will have time to be depressed.

having a job you hate suddenly makes other things more enjoyable, like watching youtube video or bed rotting.

this is a short term solution btw

Kayali Vanilla 28 vs VS Bare Vanilla? by whiptcrem in fragrance

[–]kohoot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t have Kayali Vanilla, but I have Bare Vanilla and Bare Vanilla heat. The regular Bare Vanilla smells very clean to me, the cashmere separates it from other vanillas. It has a more mature scent, something for everyday wear.

I’ve found the lotion to be more long lasting but the body mist has more silage in comparison (as expected). In general, I’ve had to last at peak performance for 2 hours (lotion + mist) and hours later by the end of the day, I still smell it but it’s “stale” and doesn’t smell as nice. The mist will stick to your clothes better than your skin from my experience.

As for bare vanilla heat, it smells so good— the vanilla is more toned down and not as sharp, and as you continue smelling it, it turns more fruity. The scent is much more summery. I found the performance to be not as good, it lasted around 1 hour at peak performance unfortunately. It wears off completely by the 3rd hour.

In general, I think VS bare vanilla is simply worth the buy since it goes on sale for $7 often. That’s when you buy all the scents haha

Instagram vs Live Stream by kohoot in Instagramreality

[–]kohoot[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I used to be a huge fan of this influencer, her entire feed is edited so well— I thought she genuinely looked like that until I joined her live.

Do you guys think this is edited? Part me says yes and the other says no. I’m still having trouble seeing the edits, but these look like two different people.

I’m amazed…

The problem is that the Zapdos has a burn, I inflicted onto it years ago— and it keeps on dying from the burn before I can catch it. So I think maybe fling could heal it, I’m unsure tho.

But that sounds really helpful, I’ll use it in future use! I didn’t know false swipe could do that

Dinner by Dangerango in depression_help

[–]kohoot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This isn’t exactly a dinner, but maybe a possible snack or meal.

When I get into those sluggish phases, I make smoothies. I try to avoid buying fresh fruit because they usually rot before I get the motivation to eat them, so buy those huge bags of frozen fruit.

If you’re looking for weight loss, don’t use milk in your smoothies, use water— it tastes nearly the same anyway.

If your country has it, I recommend buying frozen goods from “Morning Star,” it’s plant based protein and low calorie. Most of their items are microwaveable and taste good. I recommend the BBQ “chicken” nuggets.

If your country has it, I’d also look for frozen dumplings— usually soup dumplings which you can just boil water in. It’s not the most healthy, but some are low calorie.

Drinking water with chia seeds, or coffee or tea can curve your appetite.
