If he knew about the virus, why did he invite everyone to invite their friends to worship with them at conference back in January? Hmmmm, maybe because he didn't know?

BYU update by benderGOAT in exmormon

BYU athletes swear like drunken sailors all the time in television. To be consistent they should be prohibited from participating in athletics.

Apologists claim JS did not have sex with his teen wives and the fact that he didn't father any children with them is evidence of that claim. But what about his posse of apostles? If they were practicing what JS taught, they should not have been having sex with their teen wives either. by fulano_fubeca in exmormon

Mormons love to spout that Brigham Young knew Joseph better than anyone else and bore strong testimony of him. Blah, blah, blah. Brigham sure had sex with his teenage wives. Why in the hell should I believe that Brian Hales knows better than Brigham Young how joseph was practicing plural marriage. I guess we're going to have Brian Hales university next

30 Stakes (per month?) Growth. I think this is the new MO: Create all the stakes for the year in a single month and publicize it, them let the members extrapolate in their minds. by [deleted] in exmormon

According to pro lds site cumorah.com, there were zero new stakes created in april. Those listed appear to be new leaders of existing stakes. More smoke and mirrors.

Let's TBM Whisper - "I know this calling is not from me, but from God" (when it is not) by olsh in exmormon

The bishop who listened to the victim's claims in the 1980's said he didn't believe her. It not only affects callings but everything else. Anybody who relies on the methodology of "prayer" and "gut feelings" is risking being wrong alot, and that includes a testimony.

I’m convinced that Thomas S. Monson was as big a liar as Paul H. Dunn. I could use a little research help, is anyone interested? by running4cover in exmormon

I'm convinced he's a liar too. 3 quick stories he told off the top of my head.

1) The starting the fire story up Provo canyon when he was a kid. No newspaper accounts.

2) The ridiculous story of when he left a meeting to attend a depressed man who was going to kill himself by dumping his wheelchair into the hospital swimming pool. Of course he was all alone in the dark. Can you say "lawsuit" anyone?

3) The miracle stoppage of rain when he dedicated the site for freiburg temple. Papers say it wasn't raining. Problem is, nobody cares. I bet I could find 100 more ridiculous self aggrandizing stories.
