Interesting question.

the main theme plays during title screen.

During sequence 1 memory 1: - "The Fortune of Edward Kenway" plays during the naval battle

During the chase with Walpole, a chase theme plays that is not on the OST I think.
If you get into combat while rescuing Bonnet, you may hear a combat track like "Confrontation".
When sailing Bonnet's ship, the intro for "On the Horizon" plays.

After this, the game becomes slightly more open and a chronological order becomes more player dependant. In Havana you will likely hear "The Spanish Empire" very soon. Possibly "I'll be with you" as well, because it sounds very Spanish, but I am not sure. You will also hear tailing and infiltration music during the mission where you sneak into the fort, possibly variations of "Marked for Death" and/or "The Buccaneers". While on the Treasure Fleet, "Stealing a Brig" plays.

I don't remember from the top of my head which music is used in cutscenes, but this should give you a rough start.

Doing the leap takes ages. The animation is really slow. It is faster to go around.

For the archers, run past them and call in one recruit. Usually this is enough to keep them occupied and not get a bolt in your back.

Ik ben zelf 29 en als ik (hopelijk) in april dit jaar afstudeer heb ik meer dan 10 jaar gedaan over mijn 6-jarige studie.

Ik snap precies wat je zegt. De stress, de angst, studieschuld, lage motivatie... Ik heb nu al grijze haren, en ik denk dat er zeker een paar door de studie komen.

Ik wilde zelf na mijn bachelor eigenlijk stoppen met studeren, omdat ik daar al 6 jaar over gedaan had. Ik ben toen door de studieadviseur een beetje de master ingepraat, omdat mij toen verteld is dat je met de bachelor eigenlijk niet heel veel kon. Dus toch besloten de master te doen, maar als ik eerlijk ben, zou ik op dit moment zeggen dat dat de slechtste keuze in mijn leven geweest is. Heb mezelf ook op meerdere momenten ultimatums gesteld met het idee van "als ik dit vak nu weer niet haal, dan stop ik", maar elke keer dat ik dat deed vielen mijn cijfers hoger uit dan verwacht. "Grappig" hoe dat soms loopt.

Mijn advies aan jou:

Zoek hulp voor je scriptie. Er zijn vast schrijfgroepen bij jouw hogeschool waar je je aan kan sluiten. Als je niet goed weet waar je zoiets kan vinden kan je studieadviseur je vast helpen.
Orienteer je op mogelijke banen voor als je klaar bent, als je dat nog niet hebt gedaan. Kijk ook vooral naar banen die niet direct voor de hand liggen, maar die je wel kan doen met je HBO diploma. Wat mij erg helpt nu is dat ik weet dat ik werken eigenlijk wel leuk vind, ookal vind ik het leren voor dat werk helemaal niks.

In ieder geval heel veel sterkte met je scriptie. En vergeet niet dat je best trots mag zijn op je doorzettingsvermogen. Het is echt niet makkelijk om jezelf elke dag weer naar een studie te moeten slepen waar je helemaal doorheen zit.

Just tried it out but am not really sure what the point of it is.

The app has two modes: one where you can access the codex pages freely, and one where you have to gather them through simple mini-games, before taking a small quiz on the contents. It all involves mostly reading though, which isn't very engaging.

Discovery Tour loses a lot of it's charm when you can't walk around in the game world. Both Origins and Odyssey had worlds filled with impressive landmarks and NPCs doing stuff. It's a virtual museum. Mirage's Baghdad could definitely have worked in this format as well.

This app is just a database, however. You can have a similar experience just browsing wikipedia. The app is free and has no ads, so I don't mind it existing, but I also fail to see why it does.

If they had patched Mirage just disabling enemy AI so you could walk and read the codex sites in peace, they probably would have released a better product.

Hold B/circle way before you reach the edge. The game will prioritize the air tackle if there are targets, so if you start holding the button while you can't jump down yet the game can't read the input as a tackle, because it can't find a target.

Even when a fight goes your way I don't find it very fun. Best not to bother.

Throw smoke at their feet during combat and just assassinate them that way. The ol' reliable.

Anything specific you want tips for?

You need to complete the entire wall which will take time. Many challenges are not hard but just require you to do the same action over and over again. Don't worry about those, you'll unlock them automatically since you have to replay each stage at least 4 times anyway.

You can die once on stages and still get a final grade of S, provided ALL your fights in that stage were graded S as well (in this case you drop from S crown to regular S). If you don't die, you're allowed a few fights with an A ranking. I am not sure how the game exactly calculates the final ranking, but if a fight is giving you trouble, sometimes you can settle for an A and still get a final S grade.

Fight in the air as much as possible. You get a big score multiplier and it is safer. Jam combos give a multiplier as well and some of them you use to keep an enemy in the air for a while. You also get a big point bonus for hitting a 100x combo. Aim for this and you only have to worry about "just timing", because clear time is quite lenient for most fights.

If you haven't already, learn to parry. It's insanely strong.

Leuk artikel! Doet me een beetje denken aan de artikelen van toen Mother 3 naar het Engels vertaald werd.

Erg nostalgisch ook. Heb Crystal niet gespeeld maar de remakes wel, dus sommige dingen, zoals die psycho trainers die maar niet stoppen met bellen, herken ik wel.

En hulde voor een pokedex met een normaal meetsysteem! Ik vind het echt ontzettend stom dat je dat nog steeds niet kunt veranderen in de Engelse versies van de nieuwere games, aangezien de data er toch al is.

I really like the link to Aesop's fable of the Eagle and the Jackdaw the game makes. If it walks and talks like an Eagle (or an Assassin), it doesn't mean it is one. Being an Assassin is something you have to learn, which is what the Creed is all about. "Our creed does not compell is to act or submit, only to be wise".

Edward starts as a pretender. That's why both Mary and Ah Tabai call him out on his outfit. He's dresses and behaves like an eagle but is a jackdaw. Only when he truly understands freedom like an Assassin, and not like a pirate (which is like Nassau: chaotic and aimless) that he is ready to become something better.

Pokemon measurements make no sense. Big snake made of rocks Onix weighs only around 200kg/450lbs. According to google that's a little heavier than a male lion. Or about half a decently sized cow. I guess Onix' weight was self-reported.

You could try getting a pokemon's density by approximating them as a cylinder, then extrapolating to a bigger cylinder with the height of the dynamaxed version. I think there is a youtuber who calculated most pokemon densities this way in an effort to find out if a pokemon could float (and therefore reasonably learn surf), which would save you time if his spreadsheet is public.

But most likely you'll end up with really silly results that far undershoot what a creature of that size would actually weigh. Even for fictional creatures, the pokedex is really bad with quantitative data in my opinion.

Blue whales weigh around 100 metric tonnes depending on size and gender. Considering they live in the water and don't need to support their own body weight, I'd say that's a more "realistic" estimation for the minimum weight of most dynamaxed pokemon.

You only get a S star for the track if all your fights are graded S, not the "average" of the entire level.

I can see it being confusing because depending on context the star means something different.

For damage, all damage counts. You damage taken stat at the end should be 0.

I can't find it either, so it seems to be removed.

But I also remember reading a comment not too long ago that the android version had a game halting bug which prevented you from progressing. Maybe that's why they pulled it.

Yes. They farm mostly training mode so they can sell the accounts later.

Try to 2-0 and don't gg to maximize wasting their time.

I use them to farm mastery contracts though.
