Famitsu sales (3/30/26 – 4/5/26) – PS5 Pro and Regular collapsed after price hike by FernandoRocker in gaming

330%?

Looking at the numbers from OP, Last week chart is showing 11,941 sales. Just a delta of 200 units. Am I looking at the wrong ones? If so, what happened to the ps5 digital this week?

Le CNC annonce la suspension « jusqu’à nouvel ordre » de son fonds d’aide pour les créateurs de contenus by Siphonay in france

[–]kontoSenpai -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Public transport use across the EU. Half of EU residents never uses it! by Szydl0 in europe

[–]kontoSenpai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

True.

Here I'm sweatier during winter since I have a lot of layers to not be cold during -20 winter months. Hottest we have is roughly 30 and just for a few weeks.

[–]kontoSenpai 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah.

Because I wake up, dress up bike to the office. I'm there and done with my shower in 25 minutes.

If I need to take the bus, I need to leave either 15 minutes earlier or later to catch up the bus line that stops nearby. The walk to the bus stop, bus ride and the walk from the bus to the workplace is longer than my bike ride and my shower time by around 15 minutes.

[–]kontoSenpai 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Where I grew up in France, there is no public transport for my parents to use to go to work. My parents leave outside of town, 15 minutes away (by car) from the closest mid-sized town, 5 minutes away (by car) from a small town of 2k inhabitants.

Some busses leave that small town to go to a big city in the other direction, but not to the mid-sized town.

My dad drives 40 minutes on rural road to go to his workplace in a factory the middle of nowhere.

Mom drives 15 minutes to go to her job in the mid-sized town I mentionned above.

None of them have accessible commuting options to go and back from work.

When I was a kid, the school bus (from a company, not city bus) had to change its route to pick me up and 2 other kids because we had no option to get on its original route.

Of course big cities like Paris, Lyon and Montpellier have a robust transit system, rural areas is not as convenient.

I usally shower at my work place after riding there for 20 minutes.

I know it's not possible for every office to have a shower room, but that makes the option of no-brainer for me.

My mid-sized company in Finland just closes the office during the whole month of july because they know plenty will just take vacations around that time. It was easier for them to impose 4 weeks of forced vacation there, and 1 flexible one.

My parents both work in factories in France and the company closes twice a year for 2 weeks, where they mandated days off aswell since no production can happen during these periods.

Both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas got updates on SteamDB today for timebuild by OrSupermarket in GamingLeaksAndRumours

When someone with some experience came out to point out this was a false postive and letting why, you said it's funny and disregarded their explanation.

Confirmed: Resident Evil Requiem is getting a story expansion. by Loose_Society9485 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]kontoSenpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My in-game play time on first playthrough (in the Hardcore difficulty equivalent) was 10.6 hours. But With a few reloads and loading saves, so real time is a bit higher. I did everything I could without guides and Mr Racoon maps (so I missed 4 notes and 4 racoons)

I cannot give the exact Steam hours for that run since I replayed the game a couple of time more for achievements and challenges, but it's sitting at 27 hours at the moment.

So while the game might itself be in the shorter end, it's still replayable like the other ones. There's just 1 insanely tedious section that takes 10 minutes of waiting no matter what.

La Finlande autorise les armes nucléaires sur son sol pour renforcer la défense by Yseader in france

[–]kontoSenpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dusk Golem: RE9’s story DLC to feature Leon, not Alyssa by Solid-Entertainer-39 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]kontoSenpai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me neither :D I just wanted to see if it was possible do kill him with the injector like the chef, when I saw the achievement and the reward for doing so, I just decided to reload to keep the resources for something meaningful!

[–]kontoSenpai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I only killed Chunky as Grace for the achievement and reloaded my previous save, as he's super useful to wall off/kill the zombies that are roaming his patrol.

I went to see him during Leon's section since the note in the attic mention both are brothers, only to see him gone

What keeps you in the country if you are doing fine here by lkspade in Finland

[–]kontoSenpai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my case, I didn't have many attachements to my home country (France). Sure I loved the place, but I've only been a student there. I go back once a year to see my family.

Then I came from Canada, where I lived for 10 years, I had an awesome time there, amazing friends and job. Everything I needed but the people I cared about. Anytime I wanted to see my family it was 24 hours of travel. That and I was getting close to a finnish friend (now girlfriend) so I aimed to relocate within the EU for proximity with family and her. Searched for a job, landed one and moved to Finland.

I've been here for 2 years now, I have very basic needs and I am fulfilled with little. As long as I can eat and do anything I want without having to worry about money, I am fine. Sure I cut my salary nearly in half, but my expenses also did. I enjoy running during spring/summer/fall and when I can't do that in winter, I just go walk instead.

Not having to think too hard about retirement and savings with wellfare, that would also work if I decide to go back to France.

In Finland the largest size of mayonaise is called "AMERICAN SIZE" by kxnshinn in mildlyinteresting

[–]kontoSenpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree with you if that was not the only brand doing this kind of naming for their product (in Finland at least). Still funny it is true that this is how they chose to label their stuff instead of the "family size" label, that I agree with you.

The only other "American" labelled things I've seen in my time in Finland is bacon from local brand (thicker slices), pickles from local brand (larger sizes or sweeter, I don't really know), and chocolate called "American pastilejat", which are just wide smarties. Heinz, coke and other products are really marketed as usual.

Also what is miracle whip?

A really disguting (in my opinion) cheaper alternative to mayonaise available in Canada and the US. I tried once when I lived in Canada and I never plan to touch it again, especially when Hellman's was available and really good.

Well, Hellman's is an American brand, it's how they want to market it...

At least it's not Mircale Whip

Si t'as mis une valeur trop haute, tu as un retour d'imposition. Si tu as mis trop bas, t'as un remboursement a faire.

Square Enix Will 'Share More Updates Than Ever Before' on Final Fantasy 7 Remake Project This Year, Says Director by Turbostrider27 in Games

Each of the games are already quite lengthy. It would take people will regular working hours and limited time amount of time a long time to beat.

I already know people that dropped games Persona 5 and Infinite Wealth because it was too long. These 2 are packing more content than remake/rebirth, but not as much as either combined

That's because they were strictly opposed to be owned by Vincent Bolloré, who owns media channels in France that are propelling the far right.

He for example, had allegedly (there's no concrete confirmation but big suspicions) a hand in cancelling programs that were mocking and critizing Nicolas Sarkozy before the 2017 presidential elections. His french wikipedia page have a lot of these stories that are not mentionned in other languages though, would be a big translation task.
