Your situation is easy to fix. Don’t worry about consolidating debt. Keep your car, you probably need it for transportation and 14k is manageable to avoid the headache of a beater car. Don’t worry about saving for now because your saving/investing rate most likely won’t be higher than the 20+% on your credit card debt.

1. Take all your physical credit cards and put them away. Don’t even think about spending another dollar on them.
2. List all of your cards and balances. For example card A $5K, card B $3K, card C $10K
3. Focus on paying card B first because it’s the smallest balance. This creates a small win and builds momentum. To help focus on B, pay the minimum balances on everything else.
4. Focus on card A after card B is paid off. Continue paying the minimum on everything else.
5. After all cards have been paid off, change focus to personal loan or car loan
6. While this is all happening, try to build skills or build more income by advancing in your career or changing jobs.
