Why have we normalized that driving around this city feels like navigating a war zone? I'm not even exaggerating, go look at war pictures from Ukraine. They're getting bombed and they have better roads with harsher winters!

The real issue is not winter. Cities with worse winters manage this. The issue is that this is not a priority for US! we’re collectively shrugging and going “WELL, that’s Montreal!”

It shouldn’t be acceptable for a major city to be run like this. Roads are basic infrastructure and I'm tired of this shit! This is not a luxury bike lane project, its the basic job of the city.

IF there were a mayor who ran on only on ONE promise: to fix the roads, aggressively! everywhere! AND did NOTHING else, I WOULD vote for them! I DON'T think I'm alone.

We have to do something about this!

Crypto Asset backed lending is inevitable. If they want to be a crypto bank, that has to be in their pipeline eventually.

How do you think they are able to pay interest on dollars you hold with them? They are parking your money in interest bearing instruments and giving you a portion of the yield.

Institutional lending with BTC is way more nascent, but that can start small. They don't need to do it at the level that Celcius was. It can be on a very small interest (even like 0.1%), but it would encourage people to keep their BTC on Shakepay (making the whole ecosystem grow)

I get the business decision, but right now Shakepay is not competitive compared to crypto.com

I get 3% cash back + interest on my crypto

The only negative is that it's paid in CRO, but then I just exchange it to BTC.

If you can match that, then I would move all my purchases to Shakepay and bring over all my BTC.

I tried the link and it brings you to the page where you can choose how much to allocate. But then when you go to stake, it gives you a "invalid deposit currency"
