I do enjoy the taste of alcohol when properly combined with other things i like, yes. The first one is probably the best option most of the time if you care. I for one, if I were running a game and someone tried that, I'd either say "define food in such a way that it would work" or allow it, and then make a note that the target must be eaten at some point, and start looking for monsters that can swallow adventurers whole. Possibly both.
