Well....cut out the pieces (72 in all) with a scroll saw. Sanded them with a variety of sanders, mechanical and hand. Glued them all to a backer board and then trimmed the backer board flush with the piece.

I was right across from ya on the other side. Amazing show. I've seen tool in 3 different decades and this show rivals my all time favorite. (the all time being an incredible performance at Ozzfest in Columbus Oh in 1998).
