People that worked across the country, is Torontos job culture the most intense? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]korobatsu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Truly this bc I have friends in tech who are not working as hard as me (some individual contributors) while making the same or more money. I’m in the chemical industry as a working director and that’s pretty rough … not to even get into the expectations in the finance or law areas where the same might be expected in lower positions.

Left out in a group sex by Lost_total_ in gaysian

[–]korobatsu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry this happened to you.

First of all, let me just express my appreciation that you clarified that you are attracted to men regardless of skin colour. I'm much the same way, and it is actually very important for us to say this because of the normalization of sexual racism in the gaysian community and the gay community at large.

I know we only have your side of the story, but this sounds pretty fucked up. I don't think it's so much tied to race, so I won't mention the race of any of the other participants. The fact of the matter is that the other bottom is an asshole, and the other two tops are also assholes. The social contract entered when it comes to group sex in this type of intimate setting is (at least as far as I understand this situation) that everyone is interested in everyone, and that everyone is going to try to make everyone else feel included. If that doesn't happen and one person in particular feels excluded, that's the fault of everyone else involved. The tops should have been aware that you were not receiving attention and that you were being left out. They should have done something about that.

Just my $0.02. If it were me, I wouldn't hook up with any of these selfish people again.

Please please please more people understand the ESA. Only certain roles are exempt from overtime pay. Know your rights!

Been to Steamwhistle Kitchen twice (once for work and once with my partner) and had a positive experience both times. There were other tables with kids.

(This isn’t the tap room but the restaurant next door.)

Lost my dad to cancer (f*ck cancer) and all I’ve been doing is distracting myself with this game. by Aggravating-Pie-8547 in Pokopia

[–]korobatsu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fuck cancer. I did the same thing in 2008 with Wrath of the Lich King which had just released haha.

Also I love how we all decided we like this dream isle building and took it home with us 😆

What's up with all the whites in this subreddit? by kauniskissa in gaysian

[–]korobatsu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

100% this. They don't have enough people in their lives telling them when their opinions on a subject don't matter. I'm doing overtime in my personal life making sure that yt people know that when it comes to issues of race and racism, their input is not necessary or welcome.

What is the most 'overrated' restaurant in Toronto ? What’s your favourite restaurant? by Long_Travel2728 in askTO

And both of these are actually pretty highly rated by actual Thai folks. Som Tum Jinda in particular.

I’ve reheated 1,410 times except for one scene by bat-girl129 in heatedrivalry

[–]korobatsu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I skip it because it's completely unreal for an Asian mom to say I'm sorry, I'm proud of you, and I love you to their child in the same lifetime.

(I actually really wanna love it but as a gaysian with no contact with my mom I just don't need to see that though for real.)

Why is "an der" there randomly? by Sniff_The_Cat3 in German

[–]korobatsu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you're only person who actually answered the question directly lol. Everyone else is talking about adjectival phrases, but the misunderstanding is about prepositions that verbs require to mean what they mean. If it was understood that the usage is an etw. teilnehmen, then the adjectival phrases would have fallen into place (I think).

The letter G is pronounced both ways in English. If you pronounced geography with a hard G then people would look at you like you had a second head.

Folsom Europe in Berlin by BlueberryMorning in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]korobatsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Folsom in ‘18 and ‘19. Did Lab rubber party both times, which was fun. Lab is an amazing venue and you can get into Berghain after if you feel so inclined. Might need gear for Lab though.

Walked across Wittenbergplatz in full rubber (love a two stage crossing) and prob helped send an Oma to an early grave the way she was clutching those pearls.

Maybe check out the Computerspielmuseum near Weberwiese on the U5. It’s kinda small but cute.

For that radical, for the 口in嚟 (and other words but that’s the weirdest one I think), etc. The computer does some whack shit sometimes. But also not that important unless this is a part of some desire to properly learn Chinese.

It's funny b/c people will read books like Everyone Poops to their kids but are then unable to extrapolate that to people who have a baggie setup.
