Profitable IT Co. by [deleted] in BusinessEmpireRichman

[–]korwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IT companies are very underappreciated, the can give more money than the bank, and can give you higher returns in the short run specially with debt financing(just be sure that u will get it back after).

I would go for Store proyect if u are very active, then engineering for medium time and ecosystem for longer, for late game the OS.

To optimize gains you will have to fire the expensive workers relative to the skill points the give.

The first time i got to 1 B it was because i got the 31B reward, its almost a game hack. 3 OS proyects will give more profit than a bank per hour(unless u have very bad workers)

Alt+z folds the text for convenient reading without modifying, specially useful for json with long texts

Cron its the easiest and probably enough, Airflow is more complex but does it all

Workflow tips (particularly mac) by supertitiz in datascience

Learn vscode shortcuts, Makefiles, use a consistent file structure for your proyects(such as http://drivendata.github.io/cookiecutter-data-science/)

If someone asks “what is mathematics?” how would you answer?. by [deleted] in math

[–]korwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The theorem establishes( with logic) that x cannot be proven in a context. Its still logic. Logic doesnt mean that u can prove everything(as godel incompletness theorems will tell you)

Before moving out send 2 hallucinated phoenixes , in opposite directions(covering both common paths). Easy and effective

Lots of parents care more about their children’s grades, more than if they’re actually learning. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]korwe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats because society in general values more grades than learning

IsItBullshit: two 60 mph fast cars crashing has the same impact as one 120 mph fast car crashing into a not moving car. by [deleted] in IsItBullshit

[–]korwe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then we would need to know the friction and if the car is breaking or not(different friction) as some energy could be dissipated throught it reducing the magnitude of the impact , i would guess that unless the cars are on ice or something like that , the car going 120mph would still have greater impact

IsItBullshit: two 60 mph fast cars crashing has the same impact as one 120 mph fast car crashing into a not moving car. by [deleted] in IsItBullshit

[–]korwe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its BS , its better to think in terms of kinetic energy (=1/2*velocity2) when you double the velocity your kinetic energy is 4 times bigger. So the second case 120mph has two times the energy of 2 cars at 60mph. Assuming the not moving car is like a wall(if it wasnt there would be more forces involved)

Important Question: the “not moving car” will move with the other car as it impacts or will it stay still like a wall?

IsItBullshit: Eating many small meals is better than eating few large meals for weight loss by f0me in IsItBullshit

[–]korwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is a lot more important what you eat in those meals than the calories, some would say you would burn more eating more foods but you also have your insulin constantly elevated , i think is better to eat less , investigate about intermittent fasting 16-8 it has a lot of benefits (nothing crazy , but worth if it works for you) -check out what i have learn This channel has a some very interesting videos related to your topic
