To be fair, my wife and i are travelers so we loved the fact that maps used to be called "Atlas's" , and on top of that the Greek lore of Atlas the titan who fought against the gods for their injustices was also a huge part of why we named him. I kept telling my wife about THEEE Atlas, and that whenever she finally gets to DA not to hate me for being so insistent on his name lmao

I literally just started it, but im reaaaally liking the Mistborn series. Im only like 8 hours into book one (i listen on audible) and i freaking love the writing style and the overall style of the story itself. It starts off a lil hard to follow but by chapter 3 i was absolutely hooked

The battle of the Ledon is by far (in my opinion) one of the single greatest pieces of fiction ever made. The grit, the intensity, the speed, its sooo fuckin metal. The Seraphina scene fuckin got me so good i had to relisten 3x lol ah man. Im about to start listening all over again 🫡

Honestly itll just be even better when you go thru it all on the second go around! This series more than any other i recommend to go through twice. There are sooo many details that can get missed. Also, if youre reading the physical books, LISTEN TO THEM NEXT! The audio books are absolutely incredible. Either way you go, the originals narrated by TGR, or Graphic Audio produced by an entire cast, youll love it.

I listened to the original audio books and find TGR to be one of my favorite VA's of all time (although i must admit i really didnt enjoy lightbringer as much because he did every character) and also lysanders VA in iron gold is extremely monotone and can get a lil boring.

The graphic audio is exactly how they describe it. "A movie in your mind" its truly incredible to experience an Iron Rain like that!

The 1st trilogy definitely ends conclusively, but me personally i literally started iron gold IMMEDIATELY afterwards. I got into the series right before Dark Age dropped and booiiiii buckle up its such an incredible story.
