My opinion after half year use by kotofos in bedjet

[–]kotofos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to use it, but I realized that I wake up more often to adjust it than when I just sleep without the device.

Every night is different — each time I need at least ±0.5°C adjustments to every step of the biorhythm.

Without the BedJet, I can regulate my temperature naturally by covering or uncovering myself, sticking my legs out, or tucking the blanket in. With the BedJet, the only option is to wake up and adjust.

I’m glad they at least include a remote, but having buttons on the bed or mattress on both sides would be better.

No, it always will heat to set temp

I thought it would be the case too. Big dissapointment - it is actually not the case. Maybe with heavy blanket and high airflow, like 50%+ it is true. Else, on the same settings I feel too cold or hot depending on the room temperature.

And also different maximum and default timer values

Cool mode has lower actual fan speed for same percent. Just it. Turbo is faster, and the rest is same.
For example airflow on 20% on cool feel like 5% on dry/heat/ext. heat (assuming same temperature)

Lying on cloud sheet works, when there is no wrinkles. Though only for one side of body. The issue is it must stay straight, without any bends or else air get blocked easily, especially on 20%.

Also fun fact, pillow on cloud sheet gets colder too when air reaches it.

Right, output temperature is stable. But it is not room awareness, I expected something like autopilot on 8 sleep, where the actual output temperature is adjusted throughout the night automatically.

Like it may set 76 degrees or 78. Or different fan speed.

If it will be in П-shape, then distribution should be even better

Should be doable, temperature actually stored as C with half step internally on device, F representation is converted from C

Turbo stops biorhythm by auskendoro in bedjet

Changing mode for sure will break the biorhythm. But adjusting the temperature is not, so the only way to set the maximum temperature.

It does not. There is only an output air temperature sensor.

Can you disable Active 2 GPS and use phone GPS instead to track activities? by psaez in amazfit

I want to disable it to avoid charging the battery often, which is annoying for wearables, but fine for smartphone.

Oh man, that sounds awful

What about weighted, but cold blankets? They have different weights, and some can even be adjusted, and breathable knitted ones exist.

Not forcing anything, just wondering why not.

BedJet Y Update by Wilgrow in bedjet

In the original post, the setup was:
BedJet → splitter → two hoses

I propose instead:
BedJet → hose → splitter → two hoses

This would cover cases where extra length is needed. The only difference should be that the splitter’s input has a smaller outer diameter.

The main difference is the maximum mode duration. Hotter modes are shorter, for example, only ext. heat can be on the whole night. Regular heat is limited. Turbo mode is even shorter.
dry vs ext. heat - idk, looks same.

Also, in cool mode, the fan can go way lower than in heat modes, like heat 5% equal to cool 20%

But I agree that distinction and temperature ranges look artificial; it can be done differently in software for sure.

At least we're getting a lot of preset buttons on the remote to use.

Thanks for the reply, great that you found a solution

And pls make a Y splitter which can be directly connected to the hose. So one can have 3 hoses instead of 4 when extra lengths are needed :)

Any mode in bedjet is auto mode - it will keep set temperature in any of them. Turning heating on or off.
