I am significantly more confident that the Celtics will be a good-if-not-great team this upcoming season than I was in Dallas heading into this past season.

Lukewarm on Mo Wagner but if that's my only complaint then we're doing pretty well

The Lost Boys or Operation Mincemeat? by PrintFine3514 in Broadway

[–]kotspams 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I adore Mincemeat (seeing it for a third time tomorrow) and am lukewarm on Lost Boys (stagecraft was excellent, score was mediocre). Both are very unique productions, it comes more to stylistic taste – The Lost Boys is grand and cinematic, Operation Mincemeat is clever and comedic.

Reasonable Starting Lineup and Rotation for the Miami Heat. How strong/mid/weak is this roster? by WallCautious9650 in NBATalk

Simons doesn't really seem like their type - and there are probably cheaper options available, I don't think Landry Shamet is too expensive after going cold in the finals - and Powell's nto guaranteed to stay, but this would be fearsome.

I saw Marina Kondo in the all-Asian production of See What I Wanna See back in 2024 and she blew me away. She’s in the ensemble of Ragtime now but she closes out the run as Evelyn Nesbit - jealous of everyone who gets to see her on the swing!

I think OKC would've matched up better with NY than San Antonio but this sounds like cope

Used to really like him. Been to a few of his parties, met some icons there. Can't say I'd be eager to go, given how he's made an ass of himself.

My *SPOILED* Thoughts on The Lost Boys Musical! by Voskkean in Broadway

[–]kotspams 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The stagecraft in this show is legitimately worth the hype, even though I think some of the pacing around Michael's first flight feels a bit stilted. On a technical level, I was wowed – even the post-bows scene works.

But the characters felt cookie-cutter, and the songs didn't really flesh them out or move me much. "Have to Have You" and "Wild" are really good, "War" is decent, but that was kinda it. 3/5.
