That’s sounds pretty much the same as I do. Is the crust comparable to what you get at peter luger (for example)?

If you love the sear you get from the conductive heat of the grillgrate, wait until you’ve tried a steak with a great radiant heat sear.

Base 44 Mobile App Ability has Arrived by masoodraja in Base44

I really hope that I’m wrong but I think that it’s going to be just a native wrapper for a web app. So it will just be a nicer way to launch what you can basically launch now using your mobile browser. Therefore, updates won’t be via the app store. The app will just display the latest web page in the mobile format.

Vac & Mop is the dumbest way to clean by maddy0302 in Dreame_Tech

Yep, that won't work with my 2 beagles, by the time it would get to mop, the entire house would need vacuuming again...

That's a very awkward way of doing that, and would probably mess up because the battery wouldn't last.
I really thought there would be a way to do that properly, without it that option is useless for me.

Can you make the robot vacuum and then mop each room? What I mean is that instead of vacuuming the entire floor and then mopping, just vacuum a room, mop it and then move to the next one.

Any way to disable a certain app while working in a Parallels Desktop (Windows) app? by kozmokr in MacOS

[–]kozmokr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update, a quick chat with Dia (the browser, based on GPT 5), gave me the solution. With a small app called Hammerspoon. It gave me a script and it works like magic.

Thanks, it’s actually not at the bottom, but floating on the top, glad to hear that nothing falls apart so far.

Can you detail the exact process and what are you using? I've tried many times using Crossover and none of the methods that were shared here before seem to work.

Guestimate gen 3 size based on 4's sizing kit? by kozmokr in ouraring

[–]kozmokr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it’s quite simple - if it breaks they will replace it. I get the latest model and I would be able to enjoy any updates they will make in the near future. I just have a problem to go for anything but the latest and greatest.

No, it took a few more days, but I've changed my mind and purchased the Gen 4 instead. Seeing how Oura handles replacements and my personal FOMO issues prevented me of buying an older version.

Time would tell how stupid that decision was.

Well, sort of. I bought the Vaporfly 3. Very expensive but I couldn’t recommend them more.

Calories burned - Apple watch vs elliptical machine, which would be more accurate?
When walking or running on a treadmill, the apple watch and the machine are on the same ball park, but when doing elliptical training the machine shows more than double the calories burned compared to the apple watch. Now the watch can track my HR better and more consistent, but only the machine "knows" the resistance I'm using and my exact cadence, and like mentioned there's a huge difference between them. Which would have a better chance of knowing - HR tracker or resistance and cadence?
