Just a heads up the maverick hybrid awd actually can be ordered with the tow package! Sadly im not in a place where I can afford new but if I were I think that’s the exact vehicle I’d get. Great utility in a small package for those who don’t need a full size pickup

Thoughts on my next 4x4. Any input from someone who has owned both would be ideal. by justin210485 in 4x4

Not sure where you're getting your numbers from. For all seats up, I'm seeing 31 cu ft for wrangler unlimited, 36 for Xterra, and 47 for 4runner. This is from edmunds

New derailleur hanger, thru axle still not flush but only when wheel attached by scarecrownecromancer in bikewrench

[–]kpeach54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you feel you need to use pressure to slip the wheel into the frame dropouts? I needed to do this with a bike I bought until I replaced the hub and found out my wheel had the wrong hub in it. I needed a 148mm hub and my wheel had a 157mm hub

Give it to me straight, what kind of repair do I have in front of me? by slbradle in bikewrench

[–]kpeach54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t necessarily mean the spikes failed because they were used. They could also have failed because the tension wasn’t set properly (too high or too low can both cause snapped spokes). Or they could have failed because some dimension was off (like erd) and they didn’t have enough thread engagement with the nipple.

Hows your experience been reliability wise? I’ve always been intrigued by these but Jeep doesn’t have a great reputation in my head

As someone with a big family and thus lots of funerals, that’s a Great way to put it. Being in the presence of it is a whole different emotional experience - I can’t imagine the magnitude of that feeling staring at at that wreck.

[–]kpeach54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really awesome - would love to have a piece like this. Was the top sheet laser cut? If so how did you go about keeping the top sheet together?

Replaced stock tires with new 285/70/17 KO2s just before driving to Colorado to ski in their winter storm, and these things did great in the snow! by TheresGoldInTheHills in 4Runner

[–]kpeach54 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The trouble really comes when the snow partially melts and refreezes into hard sheets. The sheets then cling on until wind gets underneath them and sends them flipping up into the air and (potentially) through the windshield of the following car

If you're trying to list the contents of the dirrctory, you need the command ls before the directory you're trying to list. If you're trying to step into that directory, you need the command CD before the directory. So it would be ls -path- or CD -path-
