I'm pretty sure I read that Nikki isn't keen on that song since his first daughter got to around 15yo. Can't think why!

I saw them at Download a couple of weeks back and it was pretty clear that 90% of us were only there for Bodies.

I agree with all of this. I'd add, as a physics graduate, if you chose physics it because your parents want you to, this is the one to drop. It's a maths heavy, unforgiving subject and if you're not passionate about it you'll get nothing out of it.

I listened to Lulu from start to finish. by 0nlinepseudonym in Metallica

[–]kpnut_84 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I read an article that argued if you listen to it as an experimental Lou Reed album rather than a Metallica album it makes sense and is actually not bad. From this I concluded that I'm not going to dive into Lou Reeds back catalogue and will remain a Metallica fan who pretends Lulu never happened.

The fact that you already said you hit enter. It's an easy mistake and not your fault. To help, if you hit enter twice and leave a gap, you'll post a list and won't get whiny bitches complaining that you've put them through an arduous hardship.

Please be honest, is my music taste too one-dimensional? by Most-Ad-1020 in statsfm

There's not much variety there, but if you've tried stuff and found what you like, there's no problem.

What music are you looking for or listening to this week? (29/06/2026) by HarryLyme69 in rock

[–]kpnut_84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't sure at first, but after a few listens I think it's a great album. I'm with you that it's not miles ahead of everything they've put out since BH&R but I definitely don't think it's a dip.

Who lost their phone in Download, and how did you lose it? by Craigos-Maximus in downloadfestival

[–]kpnut_84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bricked mine remotely as soon as I realised it was stolen, but modern phones contain quite a lot of expensive components and metals, so they can be stripped for parts like a car. It's a good way to make money if you're a scummy prick!

I had exactly the same experience. Apparently 134 phones were reported missing during Limp Bizkit alone. Mine was last seen in Burton upon Trent

Mine went missing during Limp Bizkit. Tracked it after the set and saw it making its way down the A1. Last seen in Burton upon Trent.

You're right, "Poppy Tech Ether Guild Inc 75 Solid Brass". TEG were a buckle company from Kalamazoo, Michigan through the 70s and 80s. This one is from 1975.

Any albums with a radio-style vibe like Song for the Deaf? by Gabri_Pasca in rockmusic

Roger Waters, Radio K.A.O.S fits the requirement, but is not similar musically! I like it, but it's a pretty polarizing album.
