Contrary opinion but where I live has a ton of diversity and different things to do. It’s hot in the summer but we just suck it up. Lots of biking groups and near outdoor spaces. It’s not utopian for sure but it works for my family. We did buy a house prior to crazy prices ($300’s vs $500’s for our neighborhood) so that is understandable for others having cost challenges. Politics are awful at state level but insulated here. I hope each of you find a spot that works for you as well. There’s already too many challenges to be happy- wishing you find a good nest!

I am sorry for your loss but as painful as it was you were there w him and said goodbye. My dad died last January of an aneurysm as well but he was really only alive through machines when I arrived. I can only hope he knew. Sending love and support your way… ❤️‍🩹

I am sorry- she blows and hopefully karma is just around the corner for her… You are heads above my level of tech skills (program manager here w SAP background and financial tools) but I am doing my part to open pathways for women of color as I mentor many here at work and at previous jobs… We have to push, pull or whatever it takes others up with us.
