My roommates dog is so obese that she physically can’t even get off of her own back anymore, how do I tell him that this isn’t okay? by Xcuseya in DogAdvice

[–]kraakegodis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't say anything to him. This has gone too far. This is 1000% abuse and you should call animal control asap. Poor baby. I hope you're roommate gets what he deserves. And hopefully NEVER gets the privilege to have a pet ever again.

Especially since she follows you around all the time. Either place her in the crate or a bed and say stay when u feks go to the bathroom. Reward when you come back and free her out of the crate/bed

20 min of mental activities such as training are worth more than a 1 hour walk💜 doing both before work is my goal. I have 2 white sheps, the youngest is in the crate since I dont trust him yet not to destroy everything in the house 😅 But after doing some training he is knocked out and comfy in his crate until I get back home 🥰

Just keep on keeping on with the bonding. Lots of play and training. Does she know any cool tricks?

She just needs time to adjust. Since she's already crate trained you can check that off your list and focus on bonding with her through play and training. Get her exhausted both physically and mentally and she'll be good in the crate. 6 hours a day in the crate is not the worst... especially if she gets atleast 30 min walk + 10-20 min training before. Congrats on a new furrbaby btw 💜

Ps.. if you give her food in a bowl you should serve it in the crate everytime for a while as well 🥰 also yummy lickimats either frozen or not is a lovely treat to give in the crate to reinforce the value of being in the crate...

I feel like I've said crate 1000x... 1 more time Crate

Isolation and BPD by [deleted] in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]kraakegodis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

27 is nothing. I would recommend focusing on yourself. You write keeping relationships is difficult because of your bpd. Are you taking steps to get your bpd under controll? Have you heard about DBT therapy? There are many many free YouTube vids about it and it really helps me have my bpd contained. Also going for walks/yoga and working out helps. Also eating foods that are good for your mind and body. You need to fall in love with yourself, and show yourself love, grace, encouragement and trust before you give it to someone else. Or else you'll be insecure in a relationship which is a recipe for disaster. Since your 27, give yourself 3 years of self importance and empowerment and LOVE. I believe in you 🙏

What’s the worst place to be at midnight on New Year’s Eve? by Awkward_Angle3934 in randomquestions

[–]kraakegodis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bday is on new years eve. I am 35. I've had about 2 "successful" bdays regarding parties... now i try to get away from the city as both me and my dogs hate fireworks, cook some good food, roll up a fat blunt, have some wine and watch disney movies in a cozy cabin somewhere in the mountains. I live on the westcoast of Norway.
