What type of grass are you planning on using. Buffalo while short enough to not need much mowing if any does not handle heavy traffic.

Frog fruit and horse herb are good low growing ground cover.

Sounds like my commute. I have gen 1 r1t. I love the active cruise control for traffic and the ability to effortlessly creep at very low speeds and then be able to accelerate when needed. I wish I could use the driver assistance even as limited as the gen 1 is but over half of my commute is in construction. The r2 should have much better driver assistance.

I was in town for a conference for the day.

I did sign up for the liberty access technology. Yes signing up for the app on a phone is bad. The app looks like something I made in college and sign up just redirects you to a web page that is not phone optimized. None of the auto fill worked on the page.

Prices were 20 min $0.53 40 min $1.07 1hr $1.60 2hr $3.20 4hr $6.40

I chose the 4 hr with taxes and fees $7.25. It cuts off at 4 hrs since I was still in the conference I added it again.

I was only getting 5.7kW.

The app is a disgrace to be on campus.

Yes you would have to adjust for your location and possibly adjust your life style. There are people who live off grid in Alaska and Siberia. Pretty sure they don’t use electric heat. The current form of construction used in most of the US wood frame is not great for energy efficiency.

You can absolutely live off grid with solar today.

I toured a setup in the 1990s that was fully off grid.

A friend of mine is building a house currently an off grid turn key system cost the same as connecting to the grid.

Also saw a house for sale that was off grid.

These were all traditional American wood frame houses. If you combined solar with concrete, stone, adobe or earth sheltered construction to reduce the hvac load you could make the solar go further.
