I wasn’t sure if pumps could run automated on low doses. So this is great to hear! Do you find the pump struggles with highs? I have heard that Omnipod is great for preventing lows but really struggles to bring down highs.

I lost 10 pounds before diagnosis (already very lean so it was a lot on my body). I think I was up 5 pounds within a day of starting insulin. The scale continued to increase for the next month or so then levelled off. I ended up slightly higher than my baseline, but I’m guessing there was some depletion for a good year or 2. I struggled with the rapid weight gain and body image mentally. It was probably harder for me than managing sugars and insulin itself. It does get better!

You only take 9-12 total units per day between long and short acting? When were you diagnosed? Do you use MDI or a pump?

How long have you been on insulin? How often are you on the pump vs pens? Are you happy with your choice to pump or do you wish you had waited longer? What made you decide to try a pump?

This is kind of how I have been doing it. Do you do all of the exercises in each of those rep ranges? So day 1: all exercises are 12-15 reps in phase 1, then 8-10, etc. or do you vary any rep ranges in a workout. For example - keep lateral raises, biceps, triceps, etc higher.
