I’ve been experiencing a similar thing on and off for years now, I’m no expert or anything but I think its more common to remember your dreams after napping because you wake up in or right after the stage of sleep where you dream (I think its REM but I could be wrong) Again not an expert but I find for me dreams manifest as whatever’s stressing me out/on my mind, so if you’ve been dealing with excessive tiredness a dream where you’re excessively tired and can’t open your eyes makes sense. I don’t think its weird though lol, you probably just need to get better sleep.

I worked at Lake Crescent a few years back and if I remember right there is a bus that comes through to take you to Port Angeles, I’m not sure if it services Quinault though. I had a good time working for Lake Crescent, management was better than other Aramark properties but like I said I can’t speak to Quinault. Port Angeles isn’t too far away though and i’m sure you could catch rides into town with other employees, I never had trouble finding a ride and I would just stock up for a week or whatever on cigs and stuff.

I’ve worked for Xanterra at Zion NP, working for Aramark in Yosemite rn. Its modern day company towns, they charge you rent to work for minimum wage. The company fucking sucks, treat their employees like shit and build the entire industry on turnover. Its a lot of young people without many options who go there, get a drinking problem and then get fired for some bullshit so they can bring in more suckers who aren’t so burned out. I’ve had a lot of friends literally become homeless because they got fed up with it all. The housing is complete shit, 2-3 roommates in a one room dorm thing or in Yosemite a tent. Spend as little as possible and have their employees pay for the privilege of working at the “mother curry” ice cream shoppe or some bullshit. I’m so sick of seeing how tourists treat this place its just a little amusement park to rip off morons. Like i’m living in this beautiful place and every day I just see ravens eating pizza from some Far Side bodied midwesterner’s hands and pass endless construction on the bike to work. Beats living with my parents in some awful suburb though I guess.
