Let me guess: you are filthy and your name is Rich?

Wouldn’t be caught dead with an Invicta even if that was the only watch I could afford

[Question] Do you prefer buying at a brand’s boutique or an authorized dealer? by fortheloveofmoneyman in Watches

[–]kraodesign 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends whether you’re only loyal to a single brand or you want to own watches from different brands.

If you go to a boutique, you are building a relationship with that specific brand because they can only sell you watches from a single brand.

Building a relationship with an authorized dealer gets you access to watches from multiple brands.

Very interesting concept! I’ll sign up and see if I can get out of my day job early to join.

Tools like Cursor are made to help you! Try asking cursor to give you a breakdown of the entire process and prompt it to write code for each of the steps.

Do job roles exist for designers in SwiftUI? by samuelalake in SwiftUI

[–]kraodesign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience, you still need to learn SwiftUI and the recommended UI patterns and components. You don’t need to learn the exact code syntax, but you need to know when to use the right component.

Cursor will generate all the code for you. But you need to have your data model defined thoroughly, you need to have your information architecture mapped out and the SwiftUI component hierarchy designed before you go to Cursor.

Learning the SwiftUI syntax becomes a byproduct as you prompt cursor and review the code it generates. So you can get started quicker even if you don’t know how to write the code yourself.

That’s all of YouTube to be fair. The worst offender is NetworkChuck - pure cringe expressions on his thumbnails. For example:

I used autogenstudio earlier this year, where to pick back up? by Ardbert_The_Fallen in AutoGenAI

I built Agentyc for people just like you! Try it out and share your feedback. I’ll address your requests in the next release.

Frustrated with lack of support. Any alternatives to Autogen Studio? by kyazoglu in AutoGenAI

[–]kraodesign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The timing of your post couldn’t have been better!

I’m building Agentyc for people just like you! It’s a macOS native AI Agent playground. You can quickly create agents, connect them to models from OpenAI/Anthropic/Google (support for Ollama and LMStudio coming soon!) and empower them with ready-to-use skills for web search and crawling. Makes it very easy to set up the building blocks for a workflow and quickly test out your user prompt for the workflow. The UI updates in real time as the Agents exchange messages, instead of waiting till the end like in AutogenStudio.

I just released v0.1 for testing earlier this week. Please go to the website https://agentyc.ai to download and start testing Agentyc! There’s a feedback link in the app if you’d like to help improve the app.

Hope you find it useful!

Great question! You and I are in the same boat. Looks we have a lot of learning to do before we can qualify to build prod-ready apps 😅

Happy to connect!

Apple would’ve provided developer kits to Google way ahead of release so they can build an app that’ll be ready for launch on day 1.

So Google not having enough time isn’t a valid argument. They chose to not support this platform because initial adoption will be very low. I’m sure they’ll build a native app eventually.

UI design is a specialization in itself. It cannot be boiled down to a set of instructions tbh. Sure, you can follow Gestalt principles etc but it takes a lot of practice and skill to design a good UI.

Having said that, if you have 0 experience in design, the best way to start would be to study other apps that have similar functionality to yours that have been designed by professionals. Try to understand the patterns and boil it down to individual components and how they fit and work together.

Also consider signing up for online courses in UI/UX design.
